Pros: Size, size of LCD, LCD hardcover, non-protruding lens, SIZE!!! Cons: Lens Cover, Battery charger, and REC mode switch
I would say that this camera has taken my heart from my old worn digital elph. With a wonderful size, quality and a ton of features, this camera can make many others in this price range seem like moms old 35mm. First Impressions: At first, I saw ...
Pros: Small, takes good pictures, internal telephoto lens, neat magnifier ultra macro mode. Cons: Shutter button touchy. Corner mounted lens makes it easy to take pictures of your fingertip.
I have been using this camera for nearly a month now, and it's been reviewed in great detail by other users. I just wanted to share a few observations I have about the camera. The T5 is light, small and easily carried in a shirt pocket, and the ...
Pros: Reliable, user friendly, compact, good battery life Cons: Poor flash, no panoramic function, unique memory card
I have been using this camera since August 2006, and it has not spoilt once even though I did not take very good care of the camera. There may be some minor scratches, but it has been working great. The battery life is still good, and it is, in my ...
Pros: Pretty design, lightweight, good battery performance, convenient to carry. Cons: Some images lack crispness, flash feeble, still/movie mode switch unreliable on my sample.

Excellent Camera - for Small Hands by zklopman ,Nov 21 '06
Pros: Very stylistic, small, large screen, great video quality Cons: too small for large hands, zoom cannot work while recording movie
This is a our third Sony digital camera. We bought this on clearance for $200. The images are as good as the previous Sony models we had, and the video is great. My wife loves the way it is styled - great looking, thin and compact.
Pros: Large screen for easy view. Small size and sleek look/ Cons: Shutter speed is a little slow and the shutter sound is louder than expected.
I just purchased this camera. I paid $287.00 (which was very reasonable in comparison to other cameras). The camera is easy to use. The instructions are easy to read. The screen is big and the pictures are very clear. It was easy to hook up to my home computer and download pictures. I am very pleased with my purchase. I love the fact that is uses rechargeable battery and comes with the battery and the battery pack.
Sony new T5 is a Nice Camera by mogelreview ,Sep 08 '05
Pros: Great point and shoot, Slim/small Packaging, robust shutter, internal memory. Cons: Must surf through menu options to change settings. New Sony memory is more expensive.
I purchased this camera on Sep-7-05 from Best Buy for $330. It's larger than the Sony T7 but still a very small size for a nice point and shoot. I have had 2 Sony Digital cameras in the past and like them but wanted a new one for the shutter speed and the slim design, so it would fit in my pocket (paint or shirt). I really like the large screen. I'm taking it to Rome and Capri this week, so I'll let you know how it works out!
Pros: The 2.5 inch screen, size Cons: power and snap shot buttons close together
This is my first digital camera and I am very pleased with the purchase. It is easy to use and fits nicely in my purse. The options are great! I took some fantastics close up pics. The pictures also turn out great!
The only problem is the power button is next to the snap shot button. I have often turned the camera off when trying to take a picture. Annoying!!
A Smooth Straight Shooter by hermioneg ,Oct 06 '05
Pros: Beautiful memories are preserved with the same beauty in which they were made. Cons: A little expensive, but it is worth it.
If I were going to duel it out in the days of the old west, I would choose to be equipped with the best gun for the job. I wouldn't risk my life (or my dignity) by being out-shot! Today, the equivalent of having a straight, fast, efficient pistol is the Sony Cyber-Shot. It takes pictures with ease and they can be viewed right away. That sounds like what any old digital camera would do, but the Sony Cyber Shot takes pictures with such a beautiful clarity that I would not trust my memories with any other camera. I would rather the moments that I spend on this earth be preserved with the aesthetic quality that I saw them with- which means that they can't be grainy with huge, defined pixels as other cameras take them. The Sony Cyber-Shot takes pictures that look like real life; the memories look the way that I lived them. This is why I would recommend this camera to anyone who asked me! This is why I felt compelled to share my success with this camera with all who wish to partake in it as well.
Pros: SMALL, LIGHTWEIGHT, EASY TO USE, ABILITY TO TAKE A PICTURE FAIRLY QUICKLY, GOOD BATT. LIFE... Cons: EXPENSIVE, NOT GREAT PICTURE QUALITY..
SMALL, LIGHTWEIGHT, AND EASY TO USE AND SHOOT QUICKLY, THIS CAMERA TURNS A LOT OF HEADS WHEN YOU PULL IT OUT OF YOUR SHIRT POCKET (FITS EASILY!)IMAGE QUALITY VERY GOOD, AND EASE OF USE ARE ITS BEST ASSETS...
Pros: FAST & EASY TO USE, REALLY IS A GREAT POCKET CAMERA, GREAT PRICE! Cons: FLASH IS ONLY GOOD FOR 8 TO 10 FEET, TYPICAL FOR MOST CAMERAS THOUGH.
Okay Guys,
I love this site. I recently purchased a Sony T5 digital camera from Electronics EXPO, authorized Sony dealer ($285 is what I paid which is less than I could buy a used or refurb unit on EBAY!!! Also, very reasonable shipping charges with them). This is my 4th Sony digital camera and fills out my camera needs completely. it is lighting fast and easy to operate! The large display is really easy to see and cruise. The menu options are easy to follow and the quality of the photos have been spectacular. Being an avid shutter hound, I really love this camera. The only negative that I can think of is that the flash is a little weak so 8 to 10 ft. is realistically the limit with the flash and still get great shots. My Sony DSC W1 has a more powerful flash good to around 12 ft. Buy a 1 GIGABYTE card for $64 to complete the package. I purchased my carrying case at Walmart for $5. I don't like to travel abroad with a camera case that says "SONY" as it makes you a mark for thieves.
Great product at a fantastic price!
Pros: Sleek, smooth, easy to use, high quality, good value Cons: None
This is one great little camera. It is very small and sleek. If Apple made a camera, this is surely what it would look like. The design simply looks beautiful. Small, thin, smooth and just darn gorgeous.
The camera takes very nice photos and the power-on, time-between-shots and power-off times are excellent. The menu system is intuitive and I was off and running without cracking the manual. Although, I did read it later and discovered some great undiscovered features.
I purchased mine at my local Staples office store for $196.00 and ordered a 1GB Sandisk Memory Stick Duo Pro for $42.00 at Buy.com.
This camera is excellent for travel use, because it is so small and sleek and yet feature rich. There are many, many settings to play with or just forget about them all and shoot in Auto mode.
Picture quality is excellent and you will love the colors. The extreme macro mode is excellent and is perfect for getting way in for ebay photos to show small details of items.
I highly recommend this camera. It is a great value for the price. Just a short time back these were going for $500 !
