Great Micro MV Camcorder from Sony at last !

by rambo_fire , Nov 27 '02
Pros: Excellent picture quality, small size, easy of use
Cons: Incompatibility with popular video editing softwares
After significant research, I finally bought this camcorder. I have been smiling ever since. It’s a smart little device loaded with great features. Positives 1. I was pleasantly surprised to find it much smaller in size than I had imagined it to be...

The Best Tiny Camcorder Ever!

by suktaradox , Dec 25 '02
Pros: Tiny,color view finder,sound,LCD,120x digital zoom,touch screen,software,night shot
Cons: fair battery life, no camera case, and only 1 8mb sony memory stick
This is the best camera on the market today. I love this camera. It is sooo small. Fits in my pocket. All the buttons are right at your fingertips, it also takes great still photos. It comes with great software too. When you take a photo in a dark area...

by kevlarian , May 27 '03
Pros: Small, Light, 1.0MegaPixel Still, Bluetooth network access, Touch Screen Menus
Cons: MicroMV format, software support
Ok,
This product is just the coolest little gadget you can get yor hands on. It is small (smaller than my Kodak Digital Camera), light, and has an AWESOME picture.

It uses MPEG2 for recording so it is the same quality as a DVD (same...

Nice Little Camera
by komonh62 ,Jun 10 '06
Pros: The small size makes it easy to take anywhere.
Cons: The software that comes with it is crap.
I bought this camera a while ago and for the most part I am very happy with it. You can't beat the size of this camera. Just slip it in a coat pocket and go. The camera itself is very easy to use and has all the features I've ever needed. The tapes are only an hour long though. The only real drawback is the software that Sony ships with the camera to download the movies to your computer. It's very slow and frustrating to use. After years of struggling with it I've finally got a system to get me by, but it has been a long and hard process.

Quite how Sony can produce a hi-tech unit that cannot be fully used with Mac software is hard to understand. Really not good enough, is it, particularly as the necessary software could be easily produced.

by gmoney_dt3000 ,Dec 16 '02
I just sold my pc-110 and bought this one, it is smaller, easier to hold, and has better controls. I was worried about the new format, but the only major con is the quality is not as good in poor light, and the is no shoe for an external light. Other than that, I would still buy this camcorder over any other for my needs. I travel and dont like carrying a big bag of junk with me. Pictures are good enough for excellent 4x6 prints. If you want to be super picture guru, get the cybershot anyways. Who the h cares about Mac? If you have a Mac, you should probably buy a Mickey Mouse funtime camera, get real people.

Excellent piece of gadgetry. I picked up a spare battery and a 128MB Sandisk mem stick. Great quality. I recommend it to anyone. Movieshaker needs a new rev to allow multiple format output and even a built in dvd burner - I mean come on Sony it 2003 you buch of twats.

I love this camera, it is so small and fits in my pocket. I love the touch screen LCD. Records to both memory stick and micro dv casette. Battery life is fair, but it takes great still photos, awesome video, and great sound. Comes with cool software to edit videos and photos. Also another cool feature is the pop up flash. By the way does anyone even own a Mac Comp anymore. LoL

by dcc_5_dt3000 ,Oct 24 '02
I could have gotten more for my money. The lack of Mac compatibility is a frustration - I am finished buying Sony gear. Bluetooth only lets you websurf from the screen(???) not access your own wireless network.
