Pros: Sound, design, headphones, battery life. Cons: Durability.
Im a music freak. Therefore, I have to listen to some anywhere I go. And thats why I needed a good (and urgent) replacement for my Phillips CD player that broke down after 5 years of constant (rude) use.
Pros: durable, long battery life, good sound quality Cons: tad expensive, doesn't play MP3's
I had planned on giving this discman only four stars but then I really thought it through and I couldn't come up with a really good reason NOT to give it the full five stars. When you're shopping for a discman what are you looking for? Lots of ...
Pros: Great bass, easy to use. Cons: Stops abruptly, won't last you longer than two years.
Since the beginning of my freshman year, I've been carrying a Sony CD player with me to and from school- not the one I'm reviewing in particular, but always something from Sony. And since I've been carrying one with me for so long, I've grown an...
Pros: Inexpensive, excellent quality, lots of features, CD-RW compatible Cons: ESP switch located inside CD compartment
When my Aiwa CD player died, I decided it was time to replace it. I looked at lots of models, but didn't want to spend a lot. I needed the ability to play back CD-RWs, since that's what I primarily use. My parents have an old Sony Discman from back...
Pros: Ease of use, Durability, Excellent sound quality Cons: No MP3 support
I've owned a number of Sony CD players over time, but this one stands out far above the rest. The quality of the sound, sleek design, and ease of use earns it five stars. During my two years of owning it, its been beaten, dropped, and whacked, but it ...
Pros: Great Sound; Battery Life; Headphones Cons: No pause feature; Battery meter
I picked up my D-E350 at Best Buy for $45. My old RCA CD player had stopped working after only a couple months, so I decided to go with a player from the more reliable Sony. First off, the sound from this player is great. There is no static or other...
Pros: Great sound, compact, long battery life Cons: cheap materials. breaks easily
I bought this player from a music store about 5 months ago. The design caught my eye. Plus it is a sony. They make good quality stuff. The player played really well. Battery life on this thing is excellent, the best I have ever seen. Sound was...
Pros: cd-rw playback,a switch that shuts off the buttons 2 level bass boost. Neat styling Cons: It doensent play an mp3 cd. Way too expensive
This thing is a waist of money. I had it for a week, and returned it. I would walk and it would skip even with the esp on, Even when you would walk very slowly it would skip, pop and crack. This is so typical of sony's products. Then when I would...
Pros: am/fm radio, no skip, free headphones, sleek design for maximum portablity Cons: occasional bad reciption, battery life

this is an o.k. diskman..when we turn up the volume too much with the bass at step 2, the sound starts breaking; this is not because of the headphones cant handle the power, but the signal comming out of the diskman is distrorted. And the AVLS function is meant for the small earphones but the headphones that came with the diskman give negligable volume if we turn on AVLS, so this is a useless function. My diskmans battery cover keeps comming off or the cells get loose inside so we have to re-insert them.. it seems as if sony got the outsides made by some plastic manufacturer on a contract! when we turn the volume to zero, there is some amount of static which is not acceptable in a cd player as the sole reason for getting a CD is that there is no static.. i would suggest a panasonic over this...

I was impressed with its sound and controls but was very disappointed when it stopped working. I just bought it and it ran for 15 minutes then the sound suddenly became muffled. I called Best Buy to check if i did something wrong to it. They said this happens "since they are mass produced". I cant tell how rugged it is because I have not put it to the test. I wont be putting up with this hassle so I will be returning it and be looking for a Philips which has performed well for us. I have one now and its a tank.
