Pros: Excellent sound quality and long battery life. Cons: Flimsy control buttons are a little bit hard to operate.
It is nice to know that with all the digital audio players available out there be it flash memory-based or hard disk-based, Sony still continues to make portable CD players (PCDP) that have the amazing sound they are known for. Before going into ...
Pros: Great sound, tons of features, ID3 Tag support, sleek design. Cons: No AC power adapter.
Sony finally came through with my dream player! I'm surprised though that this player has not been officially announced. I was lucky enough to stumble upon it at my local Walmart. SOUND: The 15mw + 15mw is three times more powerful than your ...
Pros: High-quality sound output, plays MP3 files, great battery life Cons: Weird button placements, some functions counter-intuitive
I'm always on the hunt for a good portable CD player, as I listen to classical music exclusively. Classical music demands the most out of a hi-fi system, and MP3 players simply don't cut it for me. I got the D-NF430 because it also has FM/AM/TV/WB which ...
Pros: Sound quality is good and ear buds are comfortable. Cons: Controls are not intuitive and very difficult to operate.
I'm very sorry to report that this CD player didn't work. I was surprised since I've always like Sony products. First of all whenever I put a CD or an MP3 disc into the player it made a chirping sound regularly and skipped pretty consistently. I tried ...
Great player with great features by lowegirl ,Nov 23 '06
Pros: features, sound Cons: small buttons
Having been satisfied with Walkman cassette player quality in the past, I thought that this would likely be another quality product and I wasn't disappointed. I love the additional TV, radio, and weather band features, although not surprisingly must adjust volume for the (weaker) TV and WB reception. Great sound quality and flexibility for disc play, and the earbud earphones are very comfortable. My only criticism would be the small size of the buttons. Pricier than most players, but worth it.
CD-MP3-AM-FM-TV. THIS IS A DREAM MACHINE! by bearydebear ,Oct 23 '06
Pros: GREAT SOUND, EASY TO USE, HAS TV, AM AND FM, MP3 AND CD! Cons: NONE THAT I CAN FIND.
I own this model that comes with a remote (which I do not use) and also the Sony D-NF420 in Blue with no remote. This player is easy to use and picks up AM better than my old Panasonic player. The sound quality is superb. Before I bought this model, I went through a Panasonic MP3/CD/AM/FM and a Magnavox MP3/CD/FM and they were OK, but not the quality of a Sony!
Pros: Price, quality, jog dial, equalizer customizing, ID3 tags. AM FM WB TV Radio. 1AA Cons: Made in Malaysia
I bought this a few days ago on impulse, after looking for months at MP3 players that can both play Mp3 and has an FM/AM tuner. As such, theres none on the market for the portable Ipod types. But theres plenty in the CD player market. I chose this after seeing great deals on the Philips and Panasonic MP3/CD players, but neither really had decent mp3 playback control, and they look and felt cheap. This is a Sony, and i've had excellent Sony's before, this just capitulates on their prior successes, and holds up on its own.
The radio works excellently, it picks up AM better than my Panasonic 1988 vintage boombox, and better than my old Sony portable radio. The TV/WB band is excellent as well, listen to TV without watching it.
