Pros: Clear picture, hidden controls, decent price. Cons: Progressive scan issues, doesn't always hold settings, steady sound doesn't work well.
A few months ago my husband decided to buy a bigger television. He wanted a big screen, high def TV. We were actually looking at a larger television in a different brand, but we fell in love with the picture quality of the Sony KDF46E2000 46 in. HDTV ...

Pros: Vivid Colors, no blurring on action. Great TV for your money. Cons: Dont like some of the set-up defaults and could have a better remote. Just nit-picking.
I bought my 46" Grand Wega 2 weeks ago. Once I read the manual and got it set up (you need to read the manual to change some things that are defaulted by the factory that I think should be different like the surround sound being turned off) and ...

Pros: good picture even for non HD cable/satellite. sleek look, easy setup, light. Cons: nothing yet!
Just purchased the Sony 46" TV a few weeks ago and so far I've been very happy with it. I compared flat screen LCD, plasma, DLP, ICOS, and projection LCD before the purchase. The picture on all formats were all pretty good and I could not tell much ...

Sony KDF46E2000 46 in. HDTV Television
by juang ,Dec 31 '06
Pros: Picture quality, price Cons: Takes a while to warm up
My wife and I went to Sears in San Antonio and got a great deal on this LCD HDTV. We only paid $1299 and since we paid for it with a Sears credit card, they gave us no interest for 18 months. What a deal! They are going for $1499 at Best Buy and $1439 at Circuit City. I picked it up this morning and set it up. I am in heaven. Just in time for hoops season!!!! For the price, this has a great picture. I cannot wait to get HD. I may not leave the house until after March Madness is over.

Great HD Picture, Decent Price... Very Pleased!
by mlschott ,Oct 17 '06
Pros: Incredible picture, easy to use, good sound. Cons: Takes about 15 seconds for picture to show after powering on- small price to pay.
I'll keep this short. I purchased this set at Best Buy for $1399... after working in the Home Theatre Dept. for 2.5 years. For the price, it's hard to find a better picture. I tend to prefer the LCD projections over DLP, primarily due to the "rainbow effect" that occurs with DLP's.
I'm currently running a new Comcast Digital box which has the HDMI output- the HD picture is remarkable! While you are sacrificing picture quality on the non-HD channels, it is, in my opinion, not that bad and definitely worth it, especially since most newer shows are broadcast in HD. Actually, I've found myself watching shows I would never have thought I'd watch, simply b/c they're HD.
ABOUT HDMI CABLES!!!! DO NOT PAY FULL PRICE AT THE STORE... they are SO expensive. I actually found my cables, which are very well made and working great, at www.ehdmi.com for, oh, about $3!!! I bought 2 3' cables and after shipping it cost me $11, and they got the cables to me in 3 days. Couldn't be happier.
Hope this helps.
