Pros: Nice picture, good price Cons: Not a *great* picture, no PIP, limited inputs
At some point, all television broadcasts will be in HDTV. Of course, our government keeps moving the date when all TV must be broadcast in HD moved out, but it is coming. As well, most television programs are offered in High Definition. But which TV to ...
Pros: HD ready, clear picture, good sound, big
Cons: Expensive . Colour distorts under certain lighting conditions
Back in July, we moved house. The house we've moved into is bigger than the one we left, and has a bigger lounge. The JVC 22" telly that has served us so well for going on 11 or 12 years looked really, really dinky in the new house. So it was decided ...
Pros: Great TV for SD and HD signals. Appealing aesthetics, reasonable price. Cons: Susceptible to glare and not good with automatic brightness adjustments.
Having been in the market for a new tv for some time, I was finally motivated to take the leap when a buddy of mine talked me into buying with him (trying to get a better deal if we worked on a double sale). It worked. I had been contemplating the ...
I am truly impressed with this TV. The picture and the sound makes you believe that you really are there. Screen Size: 32" Cost: AVG. 2000.00 Dimensions: 31 1/4" X 24" X 12 1/4" 1. WEGA GATE Easy Operation Guide is a new feature that ...
The Sony Bravia KLVS32A10 is a very respectable LCD unit with amazingly good sound in a well designed package. Anyone buying an HDTV for the first time should do some very thorough research and make sure that they understand what they will get for ...
Pros: Sony Quality, HD Picture from Satellite Programming, WEGA Gate Feature Cons: Only one set of component jacks
When I decided to replace my 15-year old Mitsubishi 27-inch TV with a new flat screen set, I narrowed my choices down to five brands: Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, Samsung, and Hitachi. Other brands that offered cheaper prices simply could not compare to the ...
Pros: Easy to set-up, versatile mounting options, great picture, Cons: No Picture-in Picture, only one component cable jack
What a great picture. The clarity of the HD channels is amazing. I did plenty of research and decided to buy a smaller screen form a reputable company than a larger screen from an unknown company (to my knowledge) This TV was easy to set-up and even ...
After owning a Bravia LCD tv for 2 months now, I can honestly say that this is the worst tv I have ever spent money on. With a picture quality reminiscent of an etch-a-sketch, and weak tinny sound, I feel like I have been cheated out of my £2000. Before buying this tv, I had an old panasonic analogue tv on an indoor arial and the picture quality on that was far, far better than anything I can get on the Bravia. Watery ghosting and bad 'smearing' are as good as it gets. Trying to adjust the picture is little help. There are some factory settings, but these just seem to enhance the bad parts and are fixed settings that cannot be adjusted manually. DVD picture quality is hit and miss, with most films needing major picture adjustment to be watchable. The only thing this tv is good for is gaming. PS2 picture quality is very good and consistent, but £2000 is a high price to pay for a games monitor. Overall an awful and disappointing product that I would never recommend to anybody.
Pros: picture. back ports. contrast ratio, oh and did I mention the picture. Cons: JVC and Panasonic are cheaper. otherwise no probs.
When looking for LCD screens one of the most important features is the contrast ratio, this TV boasts one of the highest ratio available. The result is a fantastic picture, browns and blacks are distinguishable. Replacing a failing Plasma screen, most of those have a very high contrast ratio, I wanted to get a TV which was quiet (no fan), looked great, good sound & functions and had all of the ports at the back that I could jack my equip into. This TV has it all.
Pros: Great picture, natural colours, above average sound, good interface Cons: only 1 hdmi socket, needs careful "tweeking" to perform at its best
I have my lcd a while now and generally i am quite pleased.....generally because although the picture is great it has only one hdmi connection.A bit of a shame if you have a hd reciever and a dvd player with a hdmi socket! True blacks are rendered well given that lcd screens have problems in this area, and colours are very natural( skin tones on sky news are very real). Only two scart sockets...again a shame if you happen to have a few sources you want to connect to this screen. All things considered though this lcd is head and shoulders above many others out there at the moment....and thats from someone who sells lcds for a living... ME!!!1
Pros: Great picture and color rendition when properly adjusted! Cons: None that I can think of.
I bought this particular TV because it was the type and size that I wanted. My choice was also based on the Sony reputation for good products and trouble free operation. I was very impressed with it's color rendition and sharp picture. It also compliments my Sony home theater systems.
PURCHASED THE SET IN NOVEMBER OF 05 ON FEBRUARY 8 06 SET STOP WORKING. THE SET HAS BEEN AT A SONY AUTHORIZED REPAIR CENTER SINCE. SEVERAL PARTS HAVE BEEN CHANGED AND STILL SONY CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT'S WRONG. STILL WAITING FOR SONY TO SEND A REPLACEMENT SET. SET IS OVER RATED AND OVER PRICED. BETTER SETS OUT THERE FOR THE MONEY.
