Pros: Quality of recording; Convenience of single unit operation

Do You Copy? Better Know what you are doing with this one

Pros: Good Quality VHS to DVD dub.
Cons: Not for the technophobe or someone who does not like reading the comprehensive manual.

Not up to Sony's standard

Good for occasional recording

Pros: DVD/VHS combo, all DVD formats, easy to use.
Cons: slow to load/eject discs
It's nice that this unit records on all sorts of DVD media, +R, -R, +RW, -RW. I found the best flexibility with +RW discs, maybe because most devices are +R compatible. Also if you use the +RW format, you never need to spend minutes to finalize the DVD. ...
