Pros: Built in optical drive, great battery life. Cons: Expensive, so-so software
We were about to leave on a vacation and I mentioned to my wife that I wanted to take our laptop to extract pictures from our digital cameras and create CDs for our relatives and my wife commented that our laptop is a boat anchor (HP ...
Pros: Tiny, Portable, Great Battery Life, Great Screen, Runs Great! Cons: Speakers aren't the best
Well, its my eighth day without power thanks to Hurricane Wilma down here in South Florida and all I have to say is thanks to my Sony Vaio VGN-T350P/L. The battery life and extremely fast charging is one of the biggest reasons I wanted this ...
Pros: Built-in EDGE module, Ultraportable, fantastic 6 hour battery life, Dual-Layer DVD burner comes standard.
Cons: Small keyboard, no floppy drive, average processor speed, limited 60 GB HD non-upgradeable, pricey.

Pros: slim, small, great keyboard, bluetooth, 3.1 lbs, built-in GSM modem. Cons: GSM modem only supports Cingular! Crappy software! Memorystick. No install media.
The quest for a perfect laptop is difficult. I’ve owned and used many laptops, including a previous Sony, a Compaq, a Dell, and an IBM ThinkPad T41. Of those, the ThinkPad has been by far my favorite. I have only some minor complaints against it, ...
Pros: Good size, quality of screen, and battery life Cons: Keyboard is too compressed for much typing.
I have only tried out the VGN-T350P at the store, but only a couple of minutes of typing made me wonder if I could ever get used to the keyboard.
The device generally seems very well designed for the size and the designers have made a good set of compromises regardin I/O etcetera--if you absolutely need a built-in DVD player.
The Cingular plan is a nice option, but could have been added via the PCMCIA slot. Cingular coverage is limited in some of my primary haunts, so I wouldn't make use of this potentially expensive feature.
The viewing angle of the screen seems pretty narrow in person. It would not be good for more than one viewer, unless you make use of the VGA output.
If you're considering this device, I recommend you take a look at it in person to make sure the keyboard works for you.
