Pros: easy to understand, promotes reading and helps children learn numbers, game does not take forever Cons: only 4 people can play at a time
Growing up in my family, meant spending one night a week with the whole family playing a variety of games. "Sorry" was one of the most popular board games as it did not tend to last as long as some of the others. Sorry was also one of the many games put...
Pros: Fun, easy to play, not boring. Cons: It can be frustrating...sorry.
Sorry, “The Game of Sweet Revenge” was one of the staple games in our house over the years. It is also in many classes in which I substitute teach. I still have it at home; it is one I kept when we moved, though I hadn’t played it in a long...
An old expression is "the family that plays together stays together." Trite perhaps, but also a very true expression. Quality time spent together as a family is a very important part of family life. I think it becomes increasingly important as the...
Pros: Fun for the whole family, Is not all based on skill Cons: sometimes can be long
Sorry! is a game that has been around for quite a while now. It is one of those games that I once played as a kid, but now has come around to being a part of my life again. The game itself is not all that hard, and young children can get the hang of it ...
Pros: fastpaced and funfilled; easy to learn and easy to play Cons: can be an intense game
Board games were always a big part of family fun in our household. The typical Friday night would include eating pizza, drinking frosty cold cokes, and arguing over who gets to sit where and what game we will play.
Sorry is another of my family’s favorite games. Boy isn't it fun landing on a space occupied by another player and smirking and saying, "Sorry" as you send them back to start. Or the fun of "sliding" and sending...
Pros: Family fun, easy to learn, a game to pay attention to. Cons: Possible revenge motif.
Sorry! is one of those board games that just about any kid will remember playing and never forget as they age through the years. As an adult it feels that Monopoly is too long and too much about commerce, Twister requires all participants to be in good...

What Do You Mean Sorry?
Sorry is a game similar to Parcheesi. Your goal is to move all 4 of your pieces from your starting area to your home base. You move only one of your four pieces at a time (unless instructed otherwise)...
Pros: Includes entire family Cons: Cards can be confusing
With Christmas comes many different types of toys and games for the kids to play with right? Well, it just so happens that one of my girls received a SORRY! game as a gift from my brother. It's a hit!
Pros: Fun for kids and adults Cons: Can cause fights
Ah, how well I remember this game! The first time I played this was when my father and I were in a West Memphis, Ark., hospital when I was six-years-old. Dad and I were waiting for my brother to be born, so we had to kill some time.
Pros: Making choices is part of the strategy Cons: Have to be able to read to play the game correctly
Fire, Electric, Grass, and Water...All types of Pokemon. My son is a lover of Pokemon, like so many other kids his age. He also loves to play board games. So, when you put Pokemon and the board game Sorry! together you get a great game!
Pros: Great fun for all the family - Easy to learn Cons: Some can be prone to random acts of frustration
This was a game that my family used to play years ago.
I didn't even realise it was still around. So imagine my joy when an evening out for dinner at friends turned into a night of games and this was pulled from the depths of the cupboard. ...
Pros: This is a fun way to get young children to learn math. Cons: The box to store the game does not hold up to good.
Sorry, a game of sweet revenge, is what it says on the box. There is a lot of truth to that saying because when playing the game there is that person in mind that you will want to pay back for knocking your man back to start. There is ...
Pros: Good game of luck and skill for the family. Simple rules can be understood by young ones Cons: Can be very competitive and addicting
It's Friday night, must be family game night. Tonight the kids decided on SORRY.

Pros: A very fun way of being very mean to other people, without serious repercussions
Cons: too simple, very hard to get 3 or 4 others interested in playing with you
I've thought long and hard ( a few minutes, anyway,) whether I really like This Game or not. Family games are and will be important in our family, since Tanis and I both like games and we'll surely play games with our children.
Pros: easy, no skill involved, great for kids Cons: can become addicting
My husband and I get on board game "streaks". We'll take out a game and for the next month play that one alone. It turns into quite a rivalry, with bets made and scores kept for weeks on end. One of our favorites is Sorry!. The game is so...
Pros: A game for all ages! A wonderful family game! Cons: To make it fun to play, you really need 3 to 4 players.

Pros: Easy Game to Learn Cons: Players Can Get Vengeful
The game of Sorry comes to us from Parker Brothers, one of the largest makers of board games. It's a game that involves a little skill, a good amount of luck, and a lot of vengence!
Pros: Easy. For All Ages. Changing Atmosphere. Cons: Can Be Boring. Dangerous.
I have been playing Sorry! for years now and it is still one of my favorite games. But is game-play everything? The game itself is pretty durable but just watch out for the little kids because the pieces are very easy to swallow. The game is good though...

Pros: Great Childhood Memories Cons: Can be the cause of many fights
I am the only child of a divorced working mother in the 1970’s, so the only time I really got to play board games was when I went to visit my Grandmother. At her house my cousin, Katie and I on a rainy day would go down to the den/basement and pull out...
What a great game! My sons and I love to take each other on in a sorry game. It is a great game of strategy and chance. You pick up cards and hope for the right number to get you started or around the board to your home first. Just when you think you...
Pros: Similar to Trouble but with added twist Cons: Overplaying will cause plenty of boredom
Sorry! is an excellent board game that is easy enough to learn and play but includes enough playing features in order for it to be
fun even for people who like the hard strategy gams like Monopoly or Risk for example.
Pros: Can play for hours. Cons: Need more cards so you don't run out as fast.
Parker Brothers has brought us many fun board games over the years and my favorite has got to be the game of Sorry. Every night at about 10:00 my mother and I sit down for a few rounds and it is just so addictive. It is too hard to call it quits....
We bought the Sorry! Game for our kids this year for Christmas. Both my husband and I remember playing this game as children, and we knew our children would enjoy it as well.
This game is for from 2-4 players. The object of the game is to move...
Pros: Simple, counting for younger children Cons: none

Just a month ago, some friends and I...
Pros: Simple yet engaging game, Kids will love the chance to "bump" Mom and Dad Cons: Not so fun for just 2 players
This game is one that has been around since I was a child, and I expect it will still be around for my grandchildren to enjoy. It has the virtue of being simple enough for a child to play and yet engaging enough to keep an adult entertained as well....
Pros: Fun,...helps with counting & reading skills! Cons: None really!
This is the ultimate game for kids six and older!! I really do love this classic board game!! I have many fond memories of playing this with my brothers and sisters years ago. I still love playing it with my six year old, and hope that someday he will...
Pros: learn counting skills Cons: small pieces may choke animals or small children

Pros: hours of fun for the whole Family Cons: Tempers can flair
I remember playing this game as a child and my brother laughing his fool head off as he put me back home time after time. That did not stop me however, because I was determined to do the same to him.
Pros: new rules give new twist to a old game, easyier for young ones to learn and play then the monpoly version. Cons: cheap bord cheap pawns, not has fun has the pokemon version of monpoly
The battling monsters took over Monopoly last year this year its Sorry. My younger brother got this game for his birthday a couple of months ago and seeing how sorry is one of my favorite board games I gladly played it when he ask.
Pros: Easy to play, suitable for the entire family Cons: I dislike the 'board' design, not as stable as the old ones.
This is one of those games where the youngest can zap the oldest and get away with it! Sorry! is one of my daughter's favorite expressions, especially playing with/against her Dad or older brother.
Pros: Great rainy day or Friday night entertainment. Cons: It helps if the child is of reading age...

Pros: Family fun without the complication of having to think. Cons: Go ahead, just try to bump off your 6-six-old opponent without causing tears.
One of the only concepts of this game is to make your opponent take his piece that's closest to home, and send him back to start. Do you think a small child will take this lightly? Let the tears flow!
This is a great game for the whole family. For the younger children, they can learn to count by moving their men around the board. It also teaches strategy, as they have to figure out which 'man' is the right one for that move.
The younger kids...

Pros: Simple, fun game Cons: Not enough skill/strategy to appeal to all ages

I have to admit, this is one of my all time favorite games to play. It is easy, does not involve brain power, and it is a lot of fun. I also enjoy the computer version of this game.
The object of the game is to get all of you pawns home....

Pros: easy to play Cons: some cards have too much writing on them
Sorry is a great game for all ages. Kids learn to count and follow directions on the cards. It also helps kids learn to read better because you have to read either the words or the numbers on each card to be able to play the game. I play this game at the...
SORRY ha ha go back to start by scrown ,Oct 12 '06
Pros: Fun family game Cons: none
This is one of my favorite games to play with the kids. We always pick on each other when someone gets a sorry card. I think it's very easy for children to understand. I highly recommend this game.
Sorry, a favorite at our house! by bell24 ,Dec 17 '03
Pros: Teaches counting, lot's of fun Cons: Can get a bit long
My five year old son received the game when he turned four for a birthday gift. It has been a favorite of his ever since. While he was playing and having so much fun, it also reinforced his counting, and now my two year old watches us play and "helps", but is also learning to count! This game has provided us with lots of family time, fun time! The only downfall to this game is it can get a bit long at times, but we just bear with it and know that it is quality time we're spending with our children!
Pros: A fun board game of chance that allows the players to make decisions. Cons: I suppose losing would be the only con, along with losing the pieces.
Sorry is a classic family game that never gets tiring. It's very easily played and therefore, even children as a young as five or six years old can play this game. It involves moving all of one's four playing pieces into the home base. Players pass their pieces around the board depending on the number of spaces allowed to move as indicated on the card one would draw to determine how many spaces to move. There are a few catches, such as a certain number is needed to move a piece outside the home base and start them on the board. Some cards require the players to move backwards or to switch places with another player. Players can also kick another player out of a spot if they happen to land on a spot which a playing piece is already located. Overall, this game is a fun way to spend an evening.
Pros: It is fun for all school age kids Cons: There are no cons that I can see
My boys enjoy the game. It is a very good game for a family night. I have a 5 year old and a 7 year old that plays it with us and they really enjoy it. I would recommend it for every one how enjoys board games. We got it as a Christmas gift last year. There is nothing about this game that I don't like.
