Pros: Easy to learn, fun for the kids!! Cons: Child's tempers may flair over game!!
This game is a variation of Parcheesi. Rather than rolling dice to move around the board, you draw cards with numbers on them. However, some of the cards also have alternate instructions...such as being able to switch places with an opponent, split the...

Pros: simple and fun to play Cons: nothing notable
SORRY! has two extremes --- very, very boring or very exciting. Which way your game goes depends almost totally on the random order of the cards.
In this game, 2 to 4 players attempt to get their four pawns out of the start area, around the...

Pros: GAMES OF SHEER LUCK, GIVE CHILDREN A CHANCE TO WIN FAIRLY! Cons: THERE ARE NONE!
My five yr old grandson had a problem with counting items in a row. He would slide his fingers ahead, and miss counting items correctly, in his homework for kindergarten. I bought him a game of Sorry for Christmas, and we have been playing this board ...

Pros: Simple, Easy to learn Cons: No fun, boring, too easy
Sorry! I am sure that many of you have heard of this game from The Parker Brothers'. This is one of those board games that, to me, are just not fun to me. Although there are not many board games that I will even sit down and play this is...

Pros: Great for teaching counting, learning, patience. STILL fun after all these years!!! Cons: Sometimes the game can get lengthy
Board games are a family favorite in our house. I grew up playing them constantly as a child, and now my two children have inherited my passion. One of their favorites is an oldie but a goodie....SORRY!, SORRY! is a classic board game that has been on...

Pros: fun, strategic and luck Cons: none
I had a friend when I was a kid and whenever I went to visit her she would pull this game out. She loved to play this. We played it for months, probably years as kids.
This is a board game. It is based on luck and strategy to be a winner....

Pros: Another great game I grew up on that still holds kids' attention today. Cons: Lots of small, pointy pieces for a barefoot mommy to get hurt on! Ow!
I have many happy memories of enjoyable afternoons spent playing game after game of Sorry! with my cousin, also one of my best friends. We had a great time playing the game, in which you start out in your colored circle, and must navigate around the...

Pros: Family fun without the complication of having to think. Cons: Go ahead, just try to bump off your 6-six-old opponent without causing tears.
One of the only concepts of this game is to make your opponent take his piece that's closest to home, and send him back to start. Do you think a small child will take this lightly? Let the tears flow!
Sorry is not a high-concept game, but it...

Pros: good family game Cons: none
This is a great game for the whole family. For the younger children, they can learn to count by moving their men around the board. It also teaches strategy, as they have to figure out which 'man' is the right one for that move.
The younger kids...
