Sorry, a favorite at our house!
by bell24 ,Dec 17 '03
Pros: Teaches counting, lot's of fun Cons: Can get a bit long
My five year old son received the game when he turned four for a birthday gift. It has been a favorite of his ever since. While he was playing and having so much fun, it also reinforced his counting, and now my two year old watches us play and "helps", but is also learning to count! This game has provided us with lots of family time, fun time! The only downfall to this game is it can get a bit long at times, but we just bear with it and know that it is quality time we're spending with our children!

A Classic Family Game
by JJ1280 ,Oct 27 '04
Pros: A fun board game of chance that allows the players to make decisions. Cons: I suppose losing would be the only con, along with losing the pieces.
Sorry is a classic family game that never gets tiring. It's very easily played and therefore, even children as a young as five or six years old can play this game. It involves moving all of one's four playing pieces into the home base. Players pass their pieces around the board depending on the number of spaces allowed to move as indicated on the card one would draw to determine how many spaces to move. There are a few catches, such as a certain number is needed to move a piece outside the home base and start them on the board. Some cards require the players to move backwards or to switch places with another player. Players can also kick another player out of a spot if they happen to land on a spot which a playing piece is already located. Overall, this game is a fun way to spend an evening.
