Letter I sent to Air Hogs

To Whom it may concern,

Your company must know that the RC Intruder Air Hog
Plane will never fly. Why do you sell them at all? I
put down my $50.00 and my son and I could not wait to
go fly the plane. There was little wind and we
followed all instructions to a tee. The plane never
flew for more than 7 seconds and there was zero
control with the remote. We even tried launching from
the top of a big hill but that did not work either.
After trying every possible interpretation of the
instructions and inviting friends and neighbors to do
the same, we concluded that it was just a poorly
designed product and not a case of operator error. It
was no surprise when we saw others in the merchandise
return line with this product when we took it back to
toys R' us for return.

Thank you for wasting my time and making my son's
Christmas stink.

Pros: Nice concept. very cheap. quick charge.
Cons: Bottom line not nearly enough flight time to bother with.

I bought this plane for my son who is 6. It seemed like a good value. A remote control plane for $30?? I followed the instructions completely. We then took to a very large field for a try. It flew for about 20 seconds and the battery died. after numerous tries we only got about 30-45 seconds of flight time. Which to me was hardly worth the effort running after it charging it etc.... Once the battery started to die (Which seems very quick!!)there was basically no control. My son and I quickly lost intrest and returned it for a refund.
