Pros: Fun to sink hands into; More than one child can play at a time Cons: Doesn't hold its shape, messy to use; colors mix together

Pros: Seems like a cool idea, like sand and playdoh. Cons: Messy and ultimately boring.

DO NOT BUY THIS
by Psyberslam ,Jan 20 '08
Pros: Kids have fun while it lasts Cons: gets moldy quickly, is far too expensive for the length of time it lasts.
My wife and I got the Moon Sand Castle Play Set for our daughter for Christmas having seen that is was safe and reusable, similar to the way Play Dough is, but that could not be more wrong. After only 2 weeks, we found that the Moon Sand compound was infested with blue, green and BLACK mold. We expected that it would last the same way that Play Dough does, not need to be disposed of this quickly. I recommend that nobody buy Spinmaster's products after this experience. I would also recommend that anybody else having this problem contact Spinmaster, but be advised that when you do, no matter what you do the phone system will subject you to listening to everything in French, even if you select English. I will be contacting Spinmaster again on this topic due to having not heard back from them yet, and will be letting the Walmart that I purchased this item at know that they are carrying a faulty and potentially toxic product as a toy for children.
