Pros: You are Sam Fisher, super-spy Cons: You are Sam Fisher, George Clooney lookalike
No question, in this day and age, its very difficult to create a brand new game franchise, given the large amount of sequels that flood the market year after year. Somehow, however, the Xbox has managed to deliver 2 all-new franchises that have been...

Pros: graphics, sound, gameplay Cons: some frustrating missions
Ever since Metal Gear Solid on the Playstation was released, most people considered it the greatest stealth game ever. I cant really take part in saying that because Ive only played a 3 minute demo of MGS. Then Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons...

Pros: Graphics, gameplay, camera, audio Cons: learning curve
I have to admit, Ubi Soft has won me over as a fanboy ever since the creation of the Rainbow Six series. Being a fan of Tom Clancy as well as quality FPS titles; the two fit hand-in-hand. When I thought the genre just couldn't get any better, Ghost...

In Splinter Cell (SC), you assume the role of Sam Fisher. He works for this top-secret agency that combats terrorism around the world and here in the states. Anyway, theres some funny business going on in Eastern Europe, Georgia to be exact. Seems a ...

Pros: Most Impressive graphics, Terrific gameplay, Difficult AI Cons: Limited replay value, Camera Angles (Sometimes)
Splinter Cell is like a mix between Metal Gear Solid and the movie The Professional. You play as Sam Fisher, a soldier and an elite member of a group called Third Echelon. Your mission is to uncover the secrets behind the shady political...

Pros: Simply amazing graphics, sound, and gameplay Cons: Limited replay value and sometimes the difficulty
I'm going to cut right to the chase on this game.. I have to say that this game has displaced Metal Gear Solid 2 and has taken the throne for a stealthy title. Here's what I thought of the game:
Graphics-The XBox truly shines here. This game...

Pros: Incredible lighting effects and excellent sound. Cons: Far too frustrating. Boring, tedious and scripted. Inconsistent environment and AI.
I know Splinter is receiving rave reviews and has been highly anticipated, but unfortunately, I was persuaded into pre-ordering by all the hype. I should have known better.
And to get this out of the way - no - I'm not a PS/2 fanboy or...

Pros: Hardcore stealth, good lighting effects, clean design Cons: Linear gameplay that doesn't always make intuitive sense, not enough save points
Judging from all the hype, I had thought that a console-first game had finally reached a new level of sophistication. It sort of does, and sort of doesn't. Splinter Cell is a good game, and deep into the world of stealth games where hiding and no...

Pros: Realism, storyline, gadgets, excellent combination of stealth and action. Cons: Difficult to master, questionable replay value
Like its predecessor, Hitman 2, Splinter Cell for the Xbox came to me carrying heavy expectations on its shoulders (I actually pre-ordered it, a first!).
The other Tom Clancy title I have is Ghost...

Pros: Amazing graphics, control and lighting Cons: Slow and frustrating
Well with all the hype surrounding Splinter Cell I just had to pick it up. It promised ground breaking graphics and lighting, and if you read the box, stealth action redefined. Well it turns out the term "stealth action" really is the oxymoron it...

Pros: Great gameplay. Thoroughly original. Looks stunning, absolutely stunning... Cons: AI is pre-programmed in parts. A few minor bugs.
Splinter Cell is a great game. Fact. However, I can understand why it may be getting mixed reviews in the gaming community. I'll be honest, when I first played the game, I thought "What's all the fuss about?" but, with perseverance, what emerges is a...

Pros: GRAPHICS!!!!!!!!!!! DETAILS!!!!! Cons: It`s so hard! (is that really a con)
Splinter Cell has been developed by Ubi Soft, and is a part of the Tom Clancy-license, which has already given us great games like "Rainbow Six" and "Ghost Recon". It`s not the writer Tom Clancy himself who is behind the games background story, but he...

Pros: Incredible Weapons and accessories; unbelievable graphics and animation; awesome sound system with Dolby 5.1 Cons: Great plot and story, but it gets old after playing through it once
The story of this game evolves around Sam Fisher, a member of a top secret group of the National Security Agency (NSA). This group works alone to terminate groups of people known as terrorists. They have access to all the latest equipment and gadgets,...
