I love Sprint's Power Vision internet service. It make my phone very useful. The signal strength of the network is great. Only Sprint and Verizon phones will work in my house. My friends that have T-Mobile and Cingular have to go out of my house to get a signal. When traveling through the USA, I can almost always get signal.

The equipment replacement and repair program is great. They are more than fair in that area.

Sprint offers discounts to employees of certain companies. I for one appreciate that as it saves me some money.


I have been with sprint now for over two years. My contract is up and I have looked for a better provider. I keep looking, so far Sprint is the best.


The main pain with Sprint is the billing system needs improving. Errant charges appear on my bill every month. The customer service always removes the charges and apologizes for the error but it does get tiring as it occurs often. The customer service has improved greatly in the last few years. They actually treat the customers with kindness. What is the world coming to.

I called them to dispute international roaming charges as I had called previously to make sure I had the plan added on my account so the per minute charge was .20 instead of their normal .59. Their customer service actually told me that because they had no notes on my account that I was lying and did not even make a previous call to their customer service regarding my plan. Terrible customer service and extremely rude. They make it clear that they do not care about losing your business and dare you to change providers. The second my contract is up I am changing to another provider!

Bought a sprint phone for my daughter and requested the "Sprint Vision Pack" be kept off.  Received bill on 11/2007 saying $15 charge for this.  Called on 12/9/2007 and requested it be turned off and they reimburse me.  I assumed they did remove it.  Noticed the charge was still on my bill on 8/2009. 

Called Sprint and requested a refund of these charges ($300).  Sprint acknowledged they had a record of my request on 12/9/2007, but said they could reverse charges only back 2 months.

I asked for a supervisor and then a manager.  Basically they said the same thing. 

I indicated that I had disputed the charge back in 12/9/2007.  We never used this service because we assumed it was turned off.

They said they could only go back 2 months.

The Sprint Manager was Donna; she said her ID number is FA40281.
