Pros: Not considerably worse than any other. Cons: Dearth of non-PCS Vision phones to choose from. Too many weak signal areas.
I've been a loyal (read: lazy) consumer of Sprint's wireless service since 2000. I receive a nice discount from Sprint thanks to who I work for, and since my only other option there was Nextel -- and I'll never, ever switch to that side of the Sprint ...
Pros: Nice phones Cons: Dishonest customer service reps, dropped calls
I've had the Samsung A920 with Sprint for almost two years now. The phone is great and hasn't given me any problems, but I have had plenty of problems with Sprint. The horrible customer service is a deal breaker for me and made it an easy decision to ...
I have had Sprint Service for the past one and half years. In the second month of the service contract, my cell phone was broken by accident. I had a two years contract with no insurance. I barely use my cell phone. Now, for the past 13 months, I was ...
Pros: Great reception in the city, new blackberry even works sometimes in the subway Cons: Customer Service over the phone and in the store needs to be improved greatly
I have recently purchased a Blackberry 8830 for the Sprint network and have had greatly improved reception over the Blackberry 8703e. The new phone is even working in the subways to an extent. This has a lot to do with the new phone just as much as ...
Sprint has improved greatly by hondanhra ,Jan 10 '07
Pros: Fast and cheap EVDO data plan, good reception Cons: They are slow coming out with phones. Verizon and Cingular always get phones before them.
Overall good reception. Now that PDAs and Smartphones are becoming mainstream; some of my friends on Verizon are complaining about $40 data plan when Sprint has larger EVDO network for 10-15 bucks ..lol.."Can you hear me now?"
Pros: None--I think you can do better with other providers. Cons: Poor Reception
Sprint/Nextel has poor service in NY area. There are many dropped calls and also zero bars. Over the period I had my Sprint contract, I lived in Queens, Manhattan and Bergen County in NJ. I have tried the Sprint service in all those areas and I would rate it poor. My contract finally ended and I switched to Cingular. Cingular has better reception but not perfect.
Sprint Assistance - Trying to Get Some by batinnyc ,Jul 04 '07
Pros: For service, NONE Cons: Customer Service by phone or online rates ZERO STARS.
Wait time contacting Sprint for getting help, either by phone or computer, has ranged from 16 to 30+ minutes.
This is at various times during the day or night - at non-peak hours.
They must be using a VERY small staff. Other companies, if you use the computer for messages or callback have never taken longer than a minute and some have been almost instant.
Even at the store, when I purchased the 2 phones, I spent over an hour and a half, mainly because they had difficulty getting through.
