Pros: Good customer service, cool phones, reasonable rates Cons: No more Fair and Flexible Plans
Background When I first moved back to the Washington, DC area after graduate school in 1997 I got a cellular phone first time in my life and it was a Sprint Spectrum phone which I migrated to a Sprint PCS phone after they merged. Since then, ...

Pros: Good coverage, no roaming charges (anymore). Cons: Average customer service, poor online bill design.
I have found that in Charlottesville, VA, I have had very good coverage with crystal clear reception -- if a call is dropped or static, it is 99% of the time due to the other person's phone. Even in rural areas, I have had excellent coverage over the ...
Pros: Sprint finally stopped trying to bill a dead person. Cons: I don't have enough space to describe their customer service.
A warning to anyone signing a Sprint contract - if you pass away while being under contract, they will expect your spouse to pay a $150 early termination fee to turn the phone off. If you think I am kidding - I notified Sprint by telephone and in ...
Pros: Good Customer Service Cons: Dead Spots Occaisionally
I got my first Sprint phone when I was in college, and I have always used Sprint. From the beginning, I thought that the customer service was great! I once dropped my phone in the toilet (don't ask!) and it did not work from being submerged in the ...
Pros: Good coverage, great plans. Cons: Abominable customer service.
I have been a Sprint customer for 7 years and have been pleased with their coverage and service. I love my plan and therefore did not look for a new carrier when I needed a new phone. I now wonder if that was a mistake. Their "upgrade your phone" ...
Pros: Good rates, good coverage, reasonable customer service Cons: Customer service could be faster, no service in metro tunnels, no pro-rated fees
A lot of my friends have complained about Sprint over the years. I think this is largely due to poor coverage in the past, and problems they've had with customer service. I think Sprint might still have this reputation, and I'm writing this review ...
Termination Fee Adds Insult to Injury by lordhelp ,Oct 04 '06
Pros: None Cons: Horrible customer service.
Do not use Sprint as your service provider. I had lost my phone. After getting cut off repeatedly,I was finally able to place an order for a new phone with the same number. What arrived was a phone with a new number. I spent four hours at a Sprint store to try to get this straightened out. The store put me on the phone with a Sprint agent. Once again, I was cut off repeatedly and the problem never was solved. The phone was supposed to be free in return for a two-year service agreement. In fact, Sprint charged me for it. The Web site says no roaming charges. I got a huge bill for roaming charges. I have had enough with them and want to switch to another carrier. They will only let me go if I pay them a $200 reward for their poor service. So I am stuck with them until October 2007.
