Pros: Great value for the money (approx. $119 retail). Cons: Need to periodically adjust resistance level during workout (minor complaint).
Remarkably sturdy, many resistance settings, very quiet when in use (you can easily watch TV while using). Folds and transports easily. I live in a studio apartment and wanted a piece of exercise equipment that would provide a workout equivalent to...

Great stepper for a great price
by hm2swife ,Sep 05 '03
Pros: very solid, easy to set up & fold up, great price from wallmart's website Cons: none!
I have been wanting to get a step machine but we have LIMITED space yet I wanted something STURDY & reliable that I'd actually use. This stepper gives a great workout & feels solid - it folds up to a reasonably small size & it's not too difficult to do it. I am very pleased with this machine & feel like it was money well spent.

Disappointing Outcome
by robo2000 ,Jun 28 '08
Pros: Rugged construction. Ease of set up and use.
Cons: Early shock failure. Poor customer support.
We were delighted with our stepper-- well made, easy to set up and use-- for a little over a year. The shocks gave out at that point. The customer rep sympathetically informed me that the warranty was only one year so I would need to pay for new shocks-- $34 with shipping. I hoped our shocks were an anomaly and the new ones would last much longer, say five years. The new shocks lasted eight months. The customer rep sympathetically informed me that the warranty on replacement shocks was only three months so I would need to pay for yet another set. I asked if there were any other options-- better shocks, upgrade, refund? No. I asked to speak with the rep's supervisor, left my info on her voice mail and never heard back. Replacing the shocks every few months seems poor value to me, so I'm looking for a better shock elsewhere, and, failing that, a better machine.
