Loud and Ineffective

Pros: Electric Cons: Loud, ineffective
I bought this stapler to do some upholstery work and have two major complaints:
1) the staples were not flush to the wood
2) the unit is extremely loud
I live in an apartment building and was embarrassed to use it as it makes it sound like gun shots are going off in my apartment.
I recommend a manual staple gun over this-- also, it's so loud that it's just as painful as any hand ache I have gotten from a manual one.
