Pros: Back to the quality of the Star Wars of old, with amazing special effects. Cons: Very dark. Script and speech is occasionally stunted or overacted.
For fans (and casual movie-goers) who have seen episodes 1, 4, 5 and 6, this review gives away nothing that you couldn't have figured out for yourself prior to watching the movie. And that is the approach I want to take with the review.
To put...

Pros: Action; Special Effects; Yoda's ready for his close-up; Christopher Lee Cons: Dialogue, acting, pacing
The films in the “Star Wars” series have had their share of dramatic, shocking revelations. The most famous and effective was Darth Vader’s disclosure to Luke Skywalker of his true lineage in 1980’s “The Empire Strikes Back”. It got a little ridiculous...

Pros: Drama, romance, action, special fx, and the whole attitude of the movie, plus the music Cons: The people who thought it was boring, because talk about a lack of attention span
I was one of the 10 people that weren't disappointed by Episode I. I thought it was the best one after Star Wars (A New Hope). Episode I revitalized my interest in the whole Star Wars. When I first got the trilogy, I loved it. But after viewing more...

Pros: Lots of eye candy, stunning visuals, and quite a bit going on... Cons: Lack of focus, Bad dialog, forced plots
I grew up with Star Wars. I played with the toys, read the books, played the games and watched the movies. As an adult, my interest in Star Wars has varied from indifference to fascination over the years. Today I find myself ambivalent over my latest...

Pros: Strong final act that makes this a worthy entry in the Star Wars Saga Cons: A slow opening and clunky dialogue almost sink the whole movie
Synopsis: About ten years have passed since the events of Episode I: The Phantom Menace. A crisis exists as a former Jedi named Count Dooku is leading a separatist movement by a number of worlds in the Republic. Former-Queen Amidala ...

Pros: A welcome return to form. Fantastic! Cons: Please! Let the actors act!
I grew up with Star Wars. I was seven when the first movie came out, and I was one of the untold millions for whom Carrie Fisher was the first love: a cast-iron male generational guarantee from the seventies. And while the folks at Skywalker Ranch will...

Pros: Lovely sets, mostly good acting and an exciting ending. Go Yoda! Cons: Leaden performances from Christensen and Portman and an implausible romance.
So, I was looking at epinions and thinking, ‘I need to write something that people will look at! That will mean I’ll get hits, which will mean I will make money which, eventually, I’ll claim and have enough money to buy myself something nice!’ So, away...

Pros: Visual effects magic, classic Star Wars action, Cons: 90% of the dialog, Cliches in the dialog, did I mention the bad dialog?
First let me say that although my review seems negative, I absolutely loved Episode 2, and I feel that it makes up for the disaster that Episode 1 was. Now on to the review:
ACTUALLY, First let me say that I WOULD go see this movie again in...

Pros: More action than previous flicks, Ewan McGregor Cons: Just about everything else
As a huge Star Wars fan, I decided to wait prerequisite 3 hour wait and see Lucas' latest installment of the Star Wars Saga: Attack of the Clones.
Unfortunately, Lucas continues to disappoint me with his prequel follow-ups to the epic...

Pros: stunning visuals, great storyline, begins to explain Episode I and IV Cons: it ended.
You know it's here when you see the green 'Lucasfilm' script shimmer across the screen and the theatre erupts in cheers. It's here.
Unlike Episode I, this one delivered in spades. This may very well have been the **best** Star Wars movie...

Pros: UNBELIEVABLE Special Effects Cons: Story drags a bit
After Star Wars Episode I, The Phantom Menace (which I also saw at 12:01 on Thursday), I was in need of a little redemption from George Lucas. Attack of the Clones lived up to my expectations... and then some.
FIRST THE BAD NEWS
The story...

Pros: Special effects, fight scenes, strong performances by many performers Cons: Some character development problems, shaky performance by Christensen, CGI characters don't blend into background well
The "Republic" has been in shambles for the last decade. It is nearing a civil war where millions will surely die. One of the most high-profile targets of the opposition is "Senator Padme Amidala" (Natalie Portman) of "Naboo," who escapes an ...

Pros: Chris Lee. Jimmy Smits. Actual plot and acting. Cons: Busy
I'm a SW junkie. I admit it. I watch the movies. I watch everything else the stars have done ("Duh," I hear you say. "You reviewed Laserhawk and Regarding Henry for stars' sake"). I sew Jedi robes. I braid my hair like Leia on Bespin....

Pros: Well, it is a Star Wars movie. Cons: It's a really bad Star Wars movie.
... you'll be pleased to hear that he plays a comparatively minor role in "Attack of the Clones." Unfortunately, that's one of the only redeeming features in Episode Two of the Star Wars saga.
Let's get the others out of the way so that I can...
