Pros: If you want a sugar buzz, you may like this. Cons: Price, too sweet, doesn't taste like it smells.
Starbucks is noted for their coffees, but since 2005 they now have several coffee flavored liqueurs. The Starbucks Company was started in 1971 in the Seattle Pike Place Market. The Starbuck name came from the first mate in the Herman Melville book ...
Pros: Fresh roasted coffee aroma and flavor Cons: VERY poor value relative to other coffee liqueurs
Ever since the folks at Jim Beam teamed up with Starbucks to market a new coffee liqueur, I've been itching to give it a test taste, especially since I have a very deeply held affection for dessert drinks made with Kahlua --- that veritable ambrosia of ...

Suggestions for Bottle Use When Empty? by overconsumer ,Dec 11 '06
Pros: Great flavor, nice bottle & label. Good extension of brand loyalty & confidence. Cons: Need decaf version. Inconsistant retail price: I've payed $10 to 29 same size bottle!
Cool bottle, both the large size and the little airplane individual size. I refill the small one with tanning oil w/sun screen, perfect amount for a day at the beach or on the rooftop patio. The large bottle I refill with leftover drip coffee, chill it the fridge for when guests drop by for a visit. I also take leftover drip coffee and fill ice cube trays. This makes wonderful coffee ice cubes to use with that chilled coffee, our for the ice when making cold drinks with the Starbucks Coffee Liqueur.
I like the product's flavor but wish that there was a decaf version, makes sense since most people drink this in the evening. I'm a morning caffiene person and have to be careful to not have more than one coffee liqueur drink in evening, for fear of being wired till late night.
I like Kalula on icecream or in a milkshake, so I was extremely interested in Starbucks Coffee Liqueur (SCL) when it was announced. I did a comparison between Kalual, Patron's XO Cafe, and SCL and found the differneces between the three very interesting. Each is good in its own right, but SCL has a much more pronounced coffee flavor which really sets the icecream off. I also tried SCL with cream and a splash of Baliey's and found it excellent.
Starbucks Coffee Liqueur -- delicious by qtkitty ,Mar 22 '05
Pros: Delicious, versatile, true to the brand name. Cons: Expensive but everyone needs a treat now and then.
I bought my first bottle this weekend (March 19) and it won't be my last. The liqueur captures the exquisite Starbucks coffee flavor and differentiates it considerably from Kalhua or Tia Maria. Everything else will be second choice after this.
The bottle chilled in a cooler full of ice for a few hours before I took my first straight shot. Of course, the thick, sweet experience is the first thing to notice, but the Starbucks flavor finish was marvelous. I couldn't wait to experiment.
These were all served in large shot glasses with Starbucks liqueur as the lower half or third of the glass:
