Fabulous Mattress!
by sheazi ,May 23 '06
Pros: Comfortable, durable, enjoy sleeping Cons: none so far!
I've had this mattress for about a year now, and am still happy with it. I have a problem with my SI joint (hip) that causes terrible back pain when I sleep on most mattresses. I look forward to sleeping on my Stearns & Foster because it really minimizes the pain. My husband loves it too!

Unhappy to say the least!
by boreal46 ,Jul 08 '05
Pros: Looks nice. Cons: Unless I got a bad one, they do not live up to reputation.
My previous mattress was a Serta that I had had nearly 20 years. I don't recall the model, but it was quite firm. When it started giving me lower back pain, I decided it was worn out so I decided to upgrade to S&F Cresthaven based on advertising hype for the brand and that it was one of the firmer models S&F offered.
The mattress was very comfortable for about 2 months, but then the lower back pain started again. I rotate my mattress every 2 months and weigh ~200 pounds. Within 6 months a noticeable sag was occurring in the hip area, dead center in the mattress. After 10 months, I found myself literally crawling out of a depression every morning. I have since found it necessary to return to my 20 year old Serta!!
I am debating if it is worthwhile to pursue a warranty exchange, or just chalk my S&F experience up to bad luck and purchase another less expensive Serta.
