Pros: Sturdy, tall sides, night light is cool! Cons: Night light drains batteries, and a/c jack is not kid friendly. Heavy too.
My son, at the age of 2 years old was starting to climb out of his crib. I figured it was time to make the big move to a "big boy" bed. Well we went to Babies "R" Us and purchased this fire engine bed thinking, "Wow, he'll really enjoy this bed, it's ...
Pros: Excellent durable bed for toddlers, Easy to clean, great night light feature built in Cons: none
Our son was 16 months old and we had a new baby due in 2 months so we decided to move him to a "big boy" bed and save the crib for the new baby. His bed had to be special and since dad is a firefighter this bed was the perfect choice. He started ...
Pros: Attractive, Safe, High Sides, easy to assemble, easy to clean, Fun ! Cons: Large box to haul home on the roof of our car !
This wonderful theme bed was the trick to getting my son to sleep alone in his own big boy bed. We went to the store and showed him his choices for a bed and he climbed right into this Step2 Fire Engine Toddler Bed which went for 150.00 + taxes. We ...
Pros: sturdy, easy to clean, adorable, easy to find used Cons: no longer sold new, bulky to move
We bought this bed after looking all over for a bed that our active toddler couldn't take apart or break. This bed has been amazing! Not only is this bed super cute for a firehouse, transportation or "Cars" themed room, it also stands the ...
Pros: fun, sturdy Cons: more expensive than other toddler beds
We bought this bed to try and get our 2 year old out of our bed. It doesn't work all the time though. I've slept in there before with him though and can sneak out once he is asleep. It is very sturdy and durable. There are fun stickers to be placed in designated areas. It is bulky and I would recommend assembling it in the room it is to be used in as it is heavy and difficult to get up the staircase. We purchased this at the local Toys 'R Us for $150 + tax. It fits his regular crib mattress.
Great for Cars movie theme toddler room... by pjmeadows ,Mar 20 '07
Pros: Durable. Sturdy. Cute. Cons: None.
Our son loves this bed and we have it in a Cars move theme room. We call this "Red", the name of the fire engine in the Cars movie.
The bed is very sturdy. We have had it for the last few years and it still looks new despite being climbed on daily.
It is big and bulky but that's part of its charm. Be sure to put it together in the room where it's going to stay otherwise you will have a hard time getting it through the door. The bed was easy to put together and we were done in less than 30 minutes.
Fun and sturdy toddler bed! by amber12 ,Jan 16 '06
Pros: Durable, fun, safe Cons: Night light uses batteries to fast.
My daughter received this bed for Christmas when she was 1 1/2 (yes my daughter, father in law bought it.). It is very sturdy and safe, there is a little opening for her to climb up in so I feel very safe that she will not fall out. When she is not sleeping she loves to play on it and pretend she is driving. She loves the night light, but it goes through batteries really fast. She is 3 1/2 now and my son is 1 1/2 so we will be giving it to him soon and getting her a twin size bed. They tend to go in there and use it as a jungle gym at times, it is very durable and can handle all of the abuse from two playful children.
I recommend using a truck or big SUV to bring it home though because it is in a very big box.
