StompSoft Recover Lost Data 2005 Full Version for PC

Pros: None, near as I can tell.
Cons: Utterly fails to perform, nonexistent technical support.

Disk crashed. Bought the program because it came "highly rated." Moved my disk to another machine and ran the program. Program ran for 40 hours, and found nothing but garbage. Figuring I probably used the wrong option, I tried all other options. All of them indicated that the disk format was "not recognized" (even though the "Find Lost Files" option that ran for 40 hours seemed happy enough with the format). Sent a "critical" ticket to technical support. Got an email asking what I tried. I replied "everything...please call me back." No call. No follow-up. Called telephone support number and was on hold for 2 hours before I gave up. Technical support, near as I can tell, is nonexistent. Avoid this product. It fails to do what it says it does, and there is no hope of getting any technical support.

Pros: Effective and easy to use
Cons: Mild learning curve

I have used this product several times to get back pictures and emails that I have deleted for one reason or another. I like the fact that my data was easily retrieved and that I have always gotten back the files I needed (knock on wood) I really haven;t experienced and cons with this product except for the fact that I had to buy it.
