Pros: smelled nice Cons: way too expensive for something that did not work
Stretch marks are a common concern with pregnant women. When I found out I was pregnant, this one of my biggest worries(aside from the safety and well being of my baby). I was a cream"aholic", applying cream several times a day to stretch prone...
Pregnancy and stretch marks. The two seem to go together for most women ( unless you are my older sister *sigh*). Nobody wants stretch marks. They are ugly, take forever to fade if you DO get them, and can make your entire stomach( and thighs) look like...
Pros: none Cons: costly, doesn't do what it's billed to do
First, let me state, that the name "Mustela" is associated in my mind with expensive products that I'm sure celebrity moms of all kinds use. It makes me feel kind of snobby to own anything with the Mustela name on it.
I purchased Mustela Strech mark cream when I was 21 weeks along in my pregnancy. I should have known better, but vanity always gets the best of me. My goal of course, was to make it through the pregnancy without any stretch marks. So I set out to find...
This product "Mustela Stretch Marks Double Action Cream" will fool all women, because it does not do what it says on the tube.Besides leaving the stretch marks it also drains your pocket. My sons girlfriend thought for sure this would help...
I am 33 weeks pregnant and due with my first child in July. Stretch marks are a major concern for me. Right now my problem are is not my abdomen. It is my thighs. About a month ago I noticed that I was starting to get them on my left thigh. Of course I...
I have three kids and I can tell you with all three I have stretched out in more areas than you can see. I always thought there had to be some miracle to cure these stretch marks, so what did I do?
I know better, I really do. For crying out loud, I'm an obstetric nurse, and I know that once stretch marks (striae) occur on skin, they DON'T go away. They are permanent, final, the end:-)
I did purchase this in hopes that it would work,...
Pros: it works!!!and stretch marks will never go away, it is worth the money. Cons: expensive
I am not one to ever write reviews, I was price comparing on mustela, when I read these reviews. I was blown away about what was said about mustela! I swear by it, and recommend it to everyone pregnant. I have 2 children, and now having my third. I used it from the very begining of each pregnancy and got zero stretch marks. and it was not just good genes. my mother and sister both got stretch marks, and they didn't use it. so, yes, it is very expensive, but it worked wonderful for me. start it from 8 weeks till 1-2 months after delivery!! and towards the last month or two of pregnancy use it 3 times a day.
I disagree with other reviewers by melissa-expat ,Mar 25 '07
Pros: prevents stretchmarks, can get dressed immediately after application (not the case for oils, etc) Cons: unsure whether it erases existing stretch marks
I used this cream from the very beginning of my pregnancy, 12 weeks onward. I did not develop any stretch marks from my first pregnancy, and now in the early days of my second pregnancy I am using this again religiously. Many people complain about the price, but if you use it twice a day on hips, belly, upper thighs and breasts, you will only need about two tubes for the entire pregnancy. Many of the reviewers seemed to start using it later in the pregnancy when it may have been too late. I do not know how it works on existing stretch marks, but for prevention it is great. I recommend this product to my pregnant friends and feel strongly enough about it to write this post.
Pros: smells great, does what it says it will do. lasts until it is washed off. Cons: never in BabiesRus It is alot more expensive than other stretch mark creams.
I started applying Mustela cream at 8 weeks, every time I came out of the shower. I went through my first pregnancy without a stretch mark. I am on my second pregnancy and have done the same thing, and see no visual signs of it being any different. I tried to use some cheaper creams, but have come back to this one because it works and doesn't smell bad.
