Pros: Refreshing, Invigorating, Low in Calories, Keep You Alert Cons: Some Dubious Ingredients & Quite Expensive . . .
Red Bull, a caffeine and taurine-based 'energy drink', was first invented by an Austrian, Dietrich Mateschitz, who took his original inspiration from a drink he'd encountered in the Far East. Red Bull was launched in Austria in the late 1980's and spread ...

Pros: ZZZzzz... Cons: Expensive, puny 8 ounce can. Awful taste. No kick whatsoever.
Introduction I’m a fan of diet soda, so when the energy drink market started coming out with sugar free concoctions I decided to buy a few – one of them being Sugar Free Red Bull. I choose the sugar free version of Red Bull because I believe ...

Sugar Free Red Bull - 2nd Best on Market
by lkatperson ,Apr 18 '06
Pros: Small size, decent taste, does the job. Cons: Occasional heart palpitations, keeps me up at night when used after 6 pm.
I am a serious athlete, working out 5 times a week at a very high intensity for long durations. Sometimes I need a pick up. Sugar Free Red Bull is my favorite, second only to Lo Carb Monster. I like that it is a small can and can be quickly consumed as opposed to Monster which comes in the larger 2 serving can. The taste is on par with most energy drinks. Occasionally I get heart palpitations after drinking Sugar Free Red Bull, never had that happen with Monster even though it has twice the servings per can. Unlike Monster, this energy drink has kept me up at night when used after 6 pm.

Not as tasty or good as the regular
by eddielakr ,Jul 18 '06
Pros: no sugar, less calories Cons: Taste isn't very good, no caffeine effect, not good for a workot
I have tried this product a few times and I would recommend it for someone who cannot have sugar and suffers from diabetes, but I wouldn't recommend this for someone like me who needs a good tasting sports drink with a kick.
I don't enjoy the taste and the "caffeine" effect is non-existant. It tastes nothing like the original "redbull"
There is no pep and or surge of energy from this product. Maybe there are more ingredients missing than just sugar.
If you are running and biking, you are going burn off hundreds of calories anyhow, so the regular drink I think is a much better fit.
It is quite expensive at $2.00 and can be had at costco for $31.00 (24pack) They also sell the original at the same price.
You can purchase this product anywhere in the world and at any gas station or convenient store.
It only comes in an 8.3oz can, which is generally pretty small compared to monster energy drinks.

Red Bull Sugar Free is the best
by westsidemon ,Oct 16 '07
Pros: 8.3 fl oz, quick if you don't like the larger versions...listed above Cons: depends on your own personal taste buds
by far the best Energy Drink
i work out, play hard, go to school, etc. etc.
i've tried many energy drinks...a short list:
Red Bull (reg.) before there was Sugar Free
Monster (Green, Orange, Blue) etc. etc.
BTW, the Blue Monster is the Lo Carb, taste the best but after a while for me, starts to not be so good
Go Fast!
Sobe
etc. etc.
by far, after a few years of testing out all sorts, Red Bull Sugar Free because:
8.3 fl oz, quick if you don't like the larger versions w/all sorts of odd and excessive vitamins, calories carbs
Sugar Free, great, whether its Splenda, Equal, or Sweet and Low or none at all, Sugar Free taste pretty good
could go on and on but give it a try and for peak performance for anything/everything, i say go w/Red Bull and it will do its job
