Pros: Not much. Great doorstopper.
Cons: Expensive. Does not cool. Not nice looking at all.

I research air conditioners over the last month and decided to go with this after reading the reviews. Price was on the high side but didn't really mind paying a bit more for a good product.  Well so much for that. This Sunpentown unit barely cools. I turned it on for 2 days straight hoping it was cool down my mid sized bedroom. No luck. I never got it to below 80F. You get some cool air when you put your hand right in front of the unit, but that's about it.  The unit itself is not the best looking item, but I wasn't expecting much. You can hide it behind some plants or a sofa and it won't be as much of an eyesore. I would also advise against wasting half an hour trying useless trouble shooting with customer service that reads from a script. I know have a very expensive fan which I have the hassle of returning.

Pros: very portable and easy installation. Cools much better than Whynter

This is a great air conditioner unit, I owned a whynter unit last December and it broke. so I decided to buy a different brand this time. I read couple reviews before purchasing this brand. I never heard of this brand, so I was quite scared in the first place. I called the manufacture, guess what, I spoke to a live knowledgeable person. so I would definitely give a A+ on their customer service. I told them my problem and they recommend me this unit. It cools my 300 sq.ft. room well. I would say this unit easily knocks 15 or more degrees off during hot summer days. Installation was easy and the design seems sturdy. So far I have no issues with water filling up. Remote control was handy during bedtime. The foam window kit that comes with the unit fit perfectly on my window screen, very easy to cut to size. I would definitely recommend this unit.
