Pros: There are some great moments. They have terrific harmony. Cons: There is something wrong when over half of your CD is filler.
Summary: There's something about girl groups, isn't there? You've always got the same thing going with each one. First off, there's usually a star in the group. (Diana Ross in the Supremes, for example.) Girl groups notoriously bicker and member changes are ... read more

Pros: "Dangerously In Love" and a few (and I do mean few!) okay songs Cons: Overproduced, bad lyrics, too bubblegum, Beyonce monopolizes the vocals again, and loads more.
Summary: The Main Idea: After a pair of well-produced, soulful efforts, Destiny's Child sold out and created their worst album to date, Survivor. Though the record does have a few catchy songs, there's really nothing that sticks out at you as a maj ... read more

Pros: Great harmony, vocal quality, hard work shown, variety Cons: Lyrics don't fit with music well, Too much of lead singer
Summary: I will be the first to say that the Destiny's Child C.D. "Survivor" shows excellent vocal quality, great harmony, and variety in music. It's obvious that an extraordinary amount of work was put into making this album. However, some of the lyrical texts ... read more

Pros: Absolutely stellar vocal arrangements...kudos to Beyonce Cons: Lyrics are complete garbage...*wagging finger* to Beyonce
Summary: Seriously, just a few more revisions, y'all. Bear with me. You'd think that in the year or so since I originally wrote this, I might have grown to like the record more. Not so. So if you already read it...I understand.

Pros: The ballads are decent and "Emotion" was a great choice for a cover. Cons: It's cool to be independent. Just don't be unimaginative or untalented.
Summary: I am not a Destiny's Child hater. Hey, Beyonce, I ain't mad 'cause you kicked out them other two chicks. Business is business, and you gotta do what you gotta do. What I AM mad at is that you've suddenly decided you're this major producer/songwriter. OK ... read more

Pros: Booty Shaking For A Minute Cons: Too Many To List Here
