A NOT so great water filter for the solo backcountry traveler

Pros: Lightweight, field maintainable, compact, cheap, easy to use
Cons: Clogs clogs clogs. You can't recover it once it starts clogging.

Great Water!

Pros: lightweight, gets even the nastiest stuff
Cons: not great for people who like to drink a lot of water
The Walk About is a user friendly water filtration system, that anyone in their right mind could use. It offers 99.9% reliability against "germs and stuff" that can be found in even the best water here in the United States.
