Pros: Well Built, high quality, nice design, electronic display, and antibacterial features Cons: Capacity of bottle is misstated, unit resets to default often, shuts off before completely empty
Summary: I bought it from Bed Bath and Beyond for 149.99 minus their 20% off coupon I get in the mail weekly it seems. Linens and Things has it for 159.99. Please note that a friend has the same model and it has the exact same behaviors. It is very well ...

Pros: Built-in hygrometer, de-mineralizes water, removes other impurities from water, warm or cool mist selectable Cons: Replacing the mineral filter every 3 months
Summary: I was having terrible issues with dryness in my apartment due to the forced air heating here. I also take meds for my hypertension which tend to dry you out as well so the combination of the two really made a sleeping in the winter time a challenge. ...

Pros: fine mist control, timer, and hygrometer. Cons: moldy smell when in operation -- originating from the electronics/fan housing.
Summary: As soon as you plug in this unit, that water in the base is pre-warmed. This water is warm 24 hours a day regardless of whether or not the unit is turned on. Warm water grows MORE germs than either cold or hot. I feel that this pre-heating is a

Pros: Easy to use, maintain. Inexpensive to operate. Very quiet. Very effective. Cons: Refilling from the bottom can be cumbersome.
Summary: It's easy to use, very quiet and definitely delivers moisture into the air very quickly. Unlike humidifiers that use paper filters, this machine does not breed mildew or mold. There is a "Clean" indicator to remind you to clean the machine about once

Pros: Give out lots of humidity. Cons: White dust everywhere! Breathing problems!
Summary: I purchased this humidifier after looking for high rated humidifers (actually purchased two, model 7135 and model 7131). I paid over $260 for the two of them. I can now throw them away which is like lighting a match to the money! I have white dust

Pros: Relatively Quiet
Easy Operation Cons: The worst warranty service I have ever experienced.
Summary: I have to say that I was pretty happy with this unit until I had a problem after about 1 year of operation. I have now been on the phone with Plastion customer service (Plastion is the manufacturer) for over a week. They continually tell me that some

Pros: Well the tank is a pretty shade of blue. Cons: Unit and parts are expensive, must be ordered online and maintenance is ridiculous.
Summary: This humidifier was expensive, the parts required for maintenance are expensive and have to be bought online, it cannot be put on the floor but must be elevated on a table. You have to refill the tank every other day. This humidifier requires a lot of

Pros: No filters. Sturdy, Nice design Cons: Mist humidifiers will create a white dust if you have hard water.
Summary: I bought this humidifier because it requires no filters and produces a mist which I like. It does have a water filter but if you have good water you don't need to use. Because it does not have a wick filter, you will need to clean it at least once

Pros: 3 year warranty, stylish, with many functions such as shutoff timer. Relatively quiet. Cons: As reported by other reviewers, humidity meter underrated room humidity rendering this feature unusable.
Summary: Hygrometer My sample consistently reported humidity levels at least 10% lower than my Taylor HumidiGuide operating in the same location. In a small room it overhumidified when set to 50%, and raised humidity to well above 50% when set to its

Pros: Quiet, easy to maintain. Cons: Doesn't keep desired humidity level.
Summary: This is a great humidifier--if you don't need to worry about maintaining your desired humidity level. My wish is to have the humidity at 40%, which is what I set the Air-O-Swiss at. Unfortunately when I wake up the hygrometer will be in the high 50's and
