Pros: Great sound, great picture, great price. Cons: Difficult to find code for universal remote, cannot place anything on top of the television.

Picture rivals Sony's WEGA and costs less

Pros: Bright, crisp picture, great value Cons: Can't think of any!
This CRT tv has a beautiful picture--it's smooth and sharp. Color appears to be very accurate, too. I have an older Sharp 27" tv, and it has never looked like this, even when it was new (it has a curved screen so it has quite a bit of distortion). The flat tube on this tv makes the picture sharp and clear all over its large 27" screen. Type appears crisp and doesn't vibrate. I saw it side-by-side with a more expensive WEGA tv and the picture on this Sylvania was as good. This tv will also be usable once broadcasters switch over to digital--it has a digital receiver (but is standard definition--dont confuse the two).
Set up was easy. It took less than three minutes. When you turn the tv on for the first time, it steps you right through the set up. I didnt even read the manual :)
I know plasma is all the rage, and indeed, is the future, but some of us cannot afford--or dont want--to drop thousands on a tv. If you are looking for a high quality set that doesnt cost you an entire paycheck, you should look at this one.
