Symantec Antivirus (SAV) Corp edition 8 is an all encompassing antivirus/security product. It is the latest and greatest from Symantec. SAV is fully configurable to a workgroup/large corporate network for the central protection of all computers it's clients are installed on. SAV Allows you to monitor and scan for computer viruses, worms, and other annoyances from a central location, instead of having to issue a command to scan at the desktop level, where having 10 or more computers can be time consuming. The central monitor can push out updates as they come so you won't have 10 or more computers wasting bandwidth downloading the same thing. You can issue sweeps to ensure that viruses are not on any computer at any given time, and can initiate individual scans on remote systems that you believe to be having issues. They say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. In SAV's case, an ounce of protection from this program suite is worth a ton of cure. The time, resources, and money spent on virus cleanup is getting to be a big problem for small and large companies. SAV, when updated regularly, will prevent the need for such measures.
