I purchased this scale for our family of four. It is perfect. In addition to determining weight and % of body fat, it also shows what your caloric intake should be. I (mom) find this helpful in terms of targeting goals for weight loss. Fun to use. Includes 4 user pre-programmed buttons and one guest/weight-only button. Very minor con that is not the mfr's fault is that there are no established guidelines for what % of body fat is too low, right, too high for children to which to compare the results on the children. I was amazed to learn, however, that my 9 and 11 year old girls need more caloric intake than I do!
