Pros: Excellent Confidence Builder Cons: Not cheap
I am writing this review based on my husband's performance as a golfer and his ability before and after his purchase of both the Taylor Made Firesole Driver and Woods. I know his game pretty well as we live on a golf course where we are members and we...
Pros: Made by Taylor Made Cons: Haven't hit it very well yet. Price
I got a Taylor Made Firesole Driver about a month ago. So far I am not really sure what to think about it. Taylor Made made it so that is one good thing.
I don't know if it is worth it especially if you can hit your current driver decently. I...
Pros: easy alignment, very straight Cons: ugly head cover
After several hours at the driving range hitting more than a dozen demo clubs I purchased the firesole which happened to be the first club I had tried. I tested all of the big name drivers from $199 to $550. Much of the appeal of a club is feel and...
I love this club so much friends are getting ready to do a "Taylor Made Addiction Intervention". I've since switched irons, bags, and found TM shirts to be the best-looking and most comfortable golf shirt on the market. Prior to buying this...
Pros: It has a big sweetspot which provides explosive distance. Cons: If you hit left or right, you hit it LONG left or right with this club.
PING! That's the sound I heard the first time i hit this club and saw it travel 250 yards straight down the fairway. Shock spread across my face. Never in my life had I hit the ball that far and that straight. This club was definitely for...
Pros: Huge sweetspot Cons: Expensive for infrequent players
After 3 years, I finally shelved my King Cobra offset driver for the Taylor Made offset Firesole. Wow, what a difference. I am a 10 handicap who has always played a fade bordering on a slice. The offset driver really tones it down.
Pros: nice optics, solid feel, distance, ball flight Cons: can't think of any
First, I just love the way the Firesole looks at address. The bright copper color is unique among woods today, and it is a nice contrast to the green grass, adding to my confidence that "I can't miss" because I see the club so well.
Pros: Awesome Distance - Good Control - Nice Color Cons: Feels and sounds like a hollow tin can
Ever since I first started golfing, the first Driver I ever laid my hands on was a Wilson Generic your typical run of the mill cheap driver. After about 2 years, after I finally decided I liked golf, I bought my first Taylor Made Driver which at...
Pros: Where do I start Cons: Ugly head cover, but who cares!!!
I have only been playing golf for 1 year and very rarely break 95, but since buying this club my game has improved dramatically, and have this week (after only two weeks of owning the club) racked up my first sub 90 game.
Pros: no slicing, and adds 20 extra yards Cons: NONE
This driver is the best driver I have ever used. My balls used to slice and all other sorts of freaky stuff. But now that I have my new Taylor Made Driver i have been hitting fairways and getting an extra 20 yards on all of my drives and my tee marks...
Pros: distance, forgiveness, look, headcover looks great too Cons: a little pricey, but absolutely worth it
All I have to say is WOW! Before I had bought this driver, I was using a King Cobra Deep Face Titanium driver. Although I had "ok" results with this club, it didn't seem enough. My best drives with my Cobra were around the 250+ yard...
Pros: Good flex, longer shaft, good alignment, good looking Cons: pricey, not for every hitter
What a club! The Taylor Made FireSole was recommended to me by a close friend and golf instructor Tom Allen. He had originally recommended it to me because I was looking for a longer club with straighter alignment and felt that the FireSole would be...
Pros: Precision Weighted with an Increase in Distance Cons: Can it Stand the Test of Time?
Find a way to turn a golf tee into a launching pad, I did. Go ahead. Set the tee box on fire with the new Taylor MadeŽ FireSoleŽ driver. It has distance. It has accuracy. It has power. It has feel. And no wonder. It has weight where you need it most....
The Taylor Made Offset Firesole Driver is the best club in my bag! After years of using one driver after another and not being able to hit any of them with great success, this is my "magic wand". Never have I hit the ball so far or so straight....
I have always been a firm believer in Taylor Made Drivers and Fairway woods. It started with the original Burner Bubble woods, then the Ti Bubble 2, and now to the Firesole. The firesole is definately my favorite club in my back and definately the most...
Pros: Great distance, forgiving and nice looking. Cons: None, but like most clubs it comes down to personal opinion.
My original driver was a Firesole "clone" that I purchased through E-Bay. But after hitting it for a couple of months the head started to come off. Thus, I learned a valuable lesson, you get what you pay for. Now I was in search for a new...
Pros: A beauty. It inspires confidence when you are over the ball. Cons: It's expensive.
Confidence Level
I guess the most important thing when you are standing on the first tee with that driver in your hands is your confidence level. The look and feel of the TaylorMade FireSole Driver gives me more confidence. I like the...
Pros: I can feel where the clubhead is and that helps me impact the ball properly. Cons: I don't know of any.
I've been putting up with my Callaway Warbird 11 deg driver for about 6 years and recently I had the opportunity to try out a friend's Firesole 9.5 deg in R-80 shaft. I hit it far and straight and every single time I used it on the course after that the...
Pros: Solid quality driver that performs for it's user!! Cons: none
I started playing golf about a year ago and at that time I had no knowledge of what to look for in equipment. I had been using my brother's clubs and finally decided to invest in a set of my own. Fortunately..I have a good friend who has been playing...
Pros: Larger sweet spot with lots of head speed Cons: Price of the club, grips could be better
The Taylor Made Firesole Driver is by far the the best driver I have ever used. I play at least 4 rounds each week, and in doing so, and because of where I work, I have the opportunity to test a variety of different clubs. The first round I used my...
Pros: Long, straight hit that feels great Cons: none
After getting consistently out drove by my friend who I golf with, I thought it was time to get a new driver(my older actual wood 'wood' wasn't cutting it). I had heard good things about taylor made clubs in general so I was planning on getting one,...
Is your slice so bad you could work as a butcher at Safeway? This is the club for you. I first started playing offset drivers several years ago, first a Bear offset then the Cobra T1. The offset feature forces your hands to stay in front of the clubhead,...
I just love the new FireSole Driver. I had this for about a month now and it seems to be very durable and will probably last me for the rest of my life. I just love the look of it. It has a sleek copper colored/silver head that is just so cool. This is...
Pros: Gets the ball of the ground. Cons: Doesn't get the ball way out there.
I am only 16 years old and was very lucky when I found out that my dad was going to buy me the Taylor Made Firesole Driver. When I first hit this club it felt good. The club is light and has enough weight behind the face to send the ball out...
Since my purchase of this club I have came to really like it. It is very forgiving so I may hit it off the heel or the toe and it still travels very straight. Also with this club I seem to really "smoke" the ball and my playing partners are shocked that...
I bought the senior's driver a couple of years ago and love it!
I am a small (5'3") female. Most people think I'm crazy when they see how long the shaft is compared to me. But I don't have a problem with it. I'm working on distance now as...
Before I got this club, I didn't understand why anyone would spend this kind of money on a golf club. I am now a true believer that clubs can make a difference! I got a set of woods, and my drives are longer and straighter than ever before. The club...
Pros: Ungodly Distance & Somewhat forgiving Cons: This club will let you know when you are doing something wrong.
Well I Just had to put my 2 cents in here :)
I bought mine (7.5 ts-100 bubble) on ebay for $110. I went to the range and decided to hit oh 4 or 5 buckets:) anyhow at first I was gripping and ripping and hitting every which way but loose.
...
The Taylor Made Firesole Driver is a great driver for ameteurs or pros alike. It has a great comfortable feel and allows accurate distance off the tee. I like the club so much I would put it second only to the titleist 975 driver. It is a great club...
Pros: great sweet spot Cons: hard to hit if your used to a small faced driver
a couple of weeks ago i decided to replace my 2 year old driver..to sell to a friend. it was an Adams Tight lies, and i bought a Taylor Made Firesole. i thought that the club would be a sinch to hit seeing how the club face it self was almost twice as...
Pros: nice shaft,
good grip,
big head. Cons: shaft is too stiff.
I have a club just like this but its a little bit older; I love this club as a driver I can hit it farther then any other club/driver i have hit. I take it out to the course and i can show it to my friends. I like the colors also. The brass like color...
Pros: Long and George Straight Cons: Very Hard to Find
I can't believe it...I thought I'd try this new driver I got out of the used bin and it is much better than my McGregor VIP...first time out, I hit it long and straight every time...234 yds-exactly...every time! I'm trying to find the FireSole Driver new but it seems to be very rare... every one must want it, I guess.
Continues to be #1 in my bag by xxrammsteinxx ,Sep 04 '04
Pros: Very accurate, Extremely light, Pleasant sound when hit correctly Cons: The color might not be for all.
Overall this club is very good. It's light, Hits good distances, and most of the times will hit nice and straight. I bought this club after I have been struggling with my past driver. On eBay this club cost me $72 which I found to be quite a good price. If you want to get nice accurate distances, and don't want a club that feels like your swinging a brick. This is defiantly a club to look for.
