Pros: Good looking and exceptional results Cons: 2 slice toaster
I have to admit I was drawn to this toaster for it's good looks. $39.99 at Linen's and Things, the price caught my eye too. Unique curvy, triangular design. The actual dimensions are 7" wide X 11" deep X 9" tall. Sure, a bit squat, but works for a ...
Pros: unique and attractive, toasts thick slices and bagels quickly and perfectly Cons: thin slices don't come out evenly, reheat button doesn't work well
I would like a toaster to make toast, please. After the toaster oven I despised met an untimely death, I had a much better idea of what I wanted from this appliance. I wanted something to make toast quickly, and did not have any plans to roast ...
Pros: Well built, convenient angled slots, bagel and reheat options, good looking addition to your countertop Cons: Awkward crumb tray, cheap intensity dial
How much can you say about a toaster? A toaster toasts, right? But like everything else today, this simple function has been expanded upon to include special settings, accommodations for specialty breads such as bagels, and an element of style that can ...
Pros: Attractive Design Cons: Burns bread like a blow torch
I "upgraded" (and I use the term loosely) my existing toaster for no other reason than I wanted to have matching appliances. Out of all the other stainless steel toasters I found I was finally drawn to the T-fal for no other reason than it's unusual ...
Pros: It can toast bagels on only one side. Cons: See review. It is poorly designed, hazardous to use, and makes lousy toast.
This toaster is the worst device for toasting bread since a forked stick over the campfire. Let me explain...- Compared to any other two-slice toaster, it is HUGE. It takes up a lot of counter space.- Even though huge, the holes for the ...
Pros: You don't have to hold the 'Hi-lift' lever down when taking the 'bread' out. Cons: Simply doesn't toast properly. Customer service could serve their customers better.
This was our second Tefal toaster. The first one (a similar looking model) lasted about 5 years. We bought his one about a year ago and it worked fine for about 2 months. It stopped toasting the middle so I emailed customer service to be told our ...
Don't waste your time, energy, toast and money! by tamara5 ,Dec 04 '06
Pros: Great design, nice looking toaster on the counter. Cons: Doesn't toast properly, brand new with burnt out elements. Tefal's Customer Service is unacceptable.
We tested the elements on this toaster after we brought it home and before using it and found five of the elements burned out. We called T-fal customer service immediately to explain the problem and were told that this was normal, that's the way it's made for even toasting. I asked why would the elements be there if they're not intended to work? T-fal continued to assure me that this was normal. Well, that was untrue and if the elements all worked the toast would probably toast more than one square inch in the centre of toast, leaving the rest untoasted. And we wouldn't have to push it down twice on the highest setting to even toast that one square inch. We would have considered replacing this toaster, but would not trust the company's customer services. Thankfully Canadian Tire has an excellent return policy, as I wouldn't want to deal with T-fal to have the product fixed under warranty, and wait without a toaster until they send it back to me.
