Pros: At first, no body aches Cons: Back pain; hot temperature; pilling up; creates hollow that is hard to crawl out of.
We bought a tempurpedic queen size bed and the first thing I noticed was the smell that made me dizzy and slightly nauseated, which lasted about a month. It took some hindsight to figure out that it was the foam bed causing the dizziness. At first, ...

Pros: Comfortable, isolates movements. Cons: Chemical smell for first 2 months. Softer models prone to getting hot in the summer.
We've owned our queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress for about 9 months. A foam mattress wasn't on my list of things-to-buy, and in retrospect, I realize that the innocent trip to the our local furniture super store wasn't as unscripted as I had thought it ...

Pros: Nicely packaged and feels good for the first minute that you lie on it. Cons: Simply does not work - one's back muscles try to accommodate the entire night.
We bought a Tempurpedic Rhapsody as we were told this was the latest and greatest. It is supposed to be a firm mattress. I was sold on the Tempurpedic before buying this unit due to all the hype one reads and hears. I have typically slept ...

Pros: You get what you pay for Cons: Getting use to it and alot of other considerations to be aware of before buying.
Updt: Aug 4, 07. I was concerned over kt-marie's review of Sit n Sleep selling a used TP mattress. How does anyone know if they received a new one or a "used on"? According to TP - each mattress/foundation comes sealed in plastic so check to see if ...

Pros: Like sleeping on a cloud. Supports, sooths pressure points, eliminates tossing and turning. Cons: Very heavy to move or rotate, especially if you have a bad back.
Ten years ago, I slept on Swedish Foam Mattress while at a bed and breakfast in Denmark. I had been having back troubles at the time, and feared they would be worsened by the rigors of traveling, lugging suitcases, and sleeping in different beds. The ...

Pros: Great support and very comfortable. Seems robust and comes with 20 year guarantee. Cons: The price is also robust.
We replaced our 10 year old Simmons Beauty Rest King Size mattress with a Tempur-Pedic Original King Size. I had read reviews that the memory foam was "hot" and the mattress had a strong smell, but I have never slept hot and the smell was like a "new ...

Pros: When it works it's great. Cons: Breaks down and you lose support.
After a back injury my insurance company gave me the money to purchase a new bed. After researching beds I decided on the Tempur-Pedic Swedish mattress. After the initial breaking in period I was very happy with the mattress. After approximately a ...

Pros: Comfortable Cons: Retains body heat, very heavy, expensive, temperature sensitive material
We have tried many mattresses over the years but ultimately I have had problems with them all due to a bad back and hip. We tested out the Tempur-Pedic at a local furniture store and fell in love with it immediately. We purchased the 10" king with box ...

Pros: Offers adequate support without the painful springs, absorbs movement well Cons: Price! However it certainly IS the best bed for the money.
This mattress offers an incredible night sleep with its soft yet supportive material! I knew I'd love this bed from the moment I saw it! One thing I questioned (besides the large price tag) was whether I would experience a lack of support once the ...

Pros: Well-made, stylish, sheets fit very nicely b/c of sharp corners. Cons: Expensive, no support, too warm sometimes, very poor value.
I've had a Tempurpedic twin-size mattress for several months now. Initially, I had the full-size one, but I discovered that sleeping on this particular mattress, I didn't really roll around a whole lot, so I downsized to a twin. This was ok with ...

Pros: Great for the first three years. Cons: After three years the foam compresses and looses its pressure relieving properties.
Just as advertised, the TempurPedic mattress provides a supportive, pressure-relieving night of sleep. Stiff and painful joints are greatly reduced—at least for three years. After about three years the foam looses its memory and lasting depressions occur ...

Pros: Easy set up, easy return! Cons: hard as a rock, uncomfortable
My husband and I slept for our first eight years together on a semi-waveless waterbed. It was great until it began causing my husband some lower back discomfort. We tried a Serta waterbed insert (standard mattress without boxspring designed to fit into a ...

Pros: No more hip or back soreness. Very comfortable mattress.
Virtually no motion from spouse. Cons: Not the WOW experience we were looking for at first. Cannot use an electric blanket.
See end of review for update. My husband and I thought about buying a Tempurpedic mattress for months and seriously considered some of the knock-offs. So...we dished out the bucks and purchased a 10" king size mattress and foundation. We couldn't ...
