Pros: Great Songs, Great Music, Great Vocals - What I expect from Sammy! Cons: Only 47:30 long - I wish I had more to listen to.
I have not written a review in quite some time. However, SAMMY HAGAR HAS A NEW CD!!!, I just HAVE to write one! I’ll begin with a quick summary – this CD has some really great songs on it – the rest are basic, average Sammy. I like the...

Pros: This album is a great mix of rockers and ballads. Cons: Only eleven songs. C'mon Sammy! We want more!
On his third album since parting with Van Halen, Sammy has put out another fine set of tunes. I have seen Sammy twice with Van Halen and twice solo and I must say that I love the stuff he is doing with his new band, the Waboritas! Don't get me wrong...

Pros: over 25,000 copies sold so far Cons: only his best seller in my opinion

Pros: It's Sammy...no Eddie and some really catchy tunes. Cons: Doesn't sound like a well balanced Sammy album; a bit uneven.
Since getting booted out of that band with the wings on the two letters that are their trademark I think "10 Thirteen" might be Sammy's weakest album. I'm not saying it's a weak album (period!); but in terms of Sammy's catalog post 1995 I'd have to say it is. There are a few really catchy, can't seem to get it out of your head songs; but they are squashed by the others which seem to be trying too hard to sound like something or someone else. I was just surprised by this album's non-comerciality; maybe that's my problem with it. If you're a Sammy fan I'm sure you'll enjoy it, but find that of his last five albums it's probably the last one to get.
