Pros: Easy to Drink Cons: Doesn't Taste Enough Like Beer
Anheuser- Busch is the world's largest and best- known brewery, featuring a large number of alcoholic malt- beverage products. Just recently, A-B has decided to test the waters by venturing outside of its traditional malt- beverage comfort zone. The...

Pros: Possibly better than bamboo shoots under the fingernails...possibly Cons: Too numerous to count!
Ahhhh, summer's here at last! To some folks, it means heading to the beach. To others, it means high utility bills. To me, it means months of neighborhood backyard barbecues hosted by folks who know even less about good beer than do the dead armadillos ...

Pros: sweetness of the lime takes the edge off of the beer Cons: sweetness of the lime takes the edge off of the beer
Whenever we vacation in New Hampshire, we make it a point to take a break at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Merrimack. Last year, I selected Tequiza as one of my free samples at their sample bar. Tequiza is billed as having the ...

Pros: It quenches a thirst if water is no longer available. Cons: A sweet syrupy mouthful that will need to be chased with water.
What Anheuser-Busch, the world's largest brewer, forgot to tell the general public...Tequiza was supposed to crack the whip on wine coolers not "Crack the whip on Boring Beer". Someone in the mailroom screwed up. They ran with this ad...

Pros: Light and Refreshing, Good Flavor, Not too Carbonated Cons: Kinda high price for Domestic Beer
Took a gamble today on a new beer. New to me at least. The name is “Tequiza.”
In the supermarket, Tequiza is available in both six- and twelve-packs of clear, 12-ounce longneck bottles. The bright yellow label features a blue agave plant...

Pros: different Cons: no REAL Tequila in it
Yup, Fruity Pebbles, the breakfast cereal. That is the exact after taste of Tequiza. Now, I don't know about you, but when I'm drinking, I definately don't want the taste of breakfast in my mouth.
Although I am definately not a fan of...

Pros: can drink it like soda pop Cons: tastes like soda pop
This is a beer product with a measure of blue-agave Tequila and natural lime flavorings... but I swear: a recent tasting of this product tasted like Vernor’s ginger ale to me... only I find Vernor’s to taste more refreshing and interesting. (The...

Pros: Low price for an unconventionally good taste Cons: Not a drink for beer purists
Someone else here wrote that to enjoy Tequiza, you have to try and forget that it's beer. Well, now that's just silly, isn't it? Forget that beer is beer? Why not just judge coffee on the same criteria you apply to candy if it turns out more favorable...

Pros: Real, honest to God tequila flavor Cons: That's really weird in a beer.
This is not a review of Tequiza. This is a review of the new Tequiza Extra, a more macho version of Tequiza. From the A-B press release: "'Extra' offers a more pronounced tequila taste without the added lime or sweetness of original...

Pros: Sweet, cool tequila flavor Cons: too candy-like for some
When I was a novice drinker, Tequiza was my favorite beer, because it had the noveltly of having lime and a sweet-tequila flavor. Having started out with MGD and Keystone Light, this beer seemed to be levels of magnitute above what I had formerly...

Pros: Sounds like a great concept, tequila + beer = yum, right? Cons: tequila + beer = a god-awful taste, similar to Pledge
It was about a year ago when my (then) favorite watering-hole began advertising Tequiza. I was in a Mexican Cantina, sitting at the bar, eating nachos when the sign caught my eye. The banner said the beer would be sold there in two weeks. Two weeks?...

Pros: light crisp taste, inexpensive, unusual Cons: fad beer, not quite a beer, reminded me of Zima or Hooch
Prepare yourself, I'm about to have a little fun with this review! I never really imagined I'd do a high-brow beer-snob review on Tequiza... and I'm not about to.
It's already been noted that Tequiza is a pretty good drink, if you forget it's...

Pros: It does have alcohol Cons: Taste, quality, consistency, etc. and for that it's expensive!
When it comes to alcoholic beverages I'm a bit of an adventurer, especially when it comes to beer. When I first saw the marketing for Tequiza I honestly thought that it was going to taste like a Corona with a lime without having to put the lime in....

Pros: Blech! Can't think of a single one(unless you count originality)! Cons: Unbalanced taste which I found utterly disgusting.
A few months ago, my girlfriend offered me a bottle of Tequiza that had been banished to the back of her refrigerator for some time. Knowing that she was not a fan of beer, I readily accepted the bottle thinking, "How bad can it be?"
I soon...

Pros: Most unique flavor you will find in a beer Cons: None!
To know and love Tequiza, you have to pretend that it really isn't beer. When you don't compare Tequiza to other beers, you can enjoy it for what it really is, a darn good, refreshing beverage! It doesn't taste like beer, and I don't think it's really...
