Pros: It is easy and you have a realistic goal to work towards.
Cons: Pilates is hard work no matter who you learn it from...lol

I have used Denise Austin's other videos and watch her show sometimes in the mornings when I don't have to be at school but the one thing I think it most amazing about this kit is that it is EASY...
I have seen pilates at the gym and my brother's girlfriend teaches it but every time I thought about trying it I stopped short because it seemed so hard...
Not so with this product to help. The video is not hard to follow, the bands are helpful and Denise Austin is peppy but real. You can see her breathing and you can tell it is work but she actually likes what she is doing...nothing is more depressing than someone who doesn't look like they are even trying hard when you are trying to learn something new.

Pros: It comes with the exercise bands.
Cons: Too slow. Not enough of a workout.

This tape did not live up to Denise Austin's reputation. It was too slow of a workout and not really pilates. It is more of a stretching demonstration than a workout. After following along a few times it wasn't worth pushing play on the VCR.
