Pros: Good packaging, nice scent, effective at removing all makeup, not oily Cons: Leaves soapy residue, a bit overpriced
I use eye make up remover every morning to adjust my eyeliner when the line isnt as thin as Id like it. I also use it before bed to get all my makeup off and get ready for the night. Usually one bottle of eye makeup remover lasts many months ...
Pros: not greasy, does not sting, removes eye makeup Cons: none
I don't wear eye makeup every day, and in fact as a stay at home mom is has really become the exception rather than the rule. This became a problem for me on Christmas, as I put on some eye shadow, eyeliner, and mascara for the occasion and then ...
Pros: It works! It's reasonably priced! It can be delivered to your door! Cons: NONE
I am a sworn user of Cliniques Rinse Off Eye Makeup Solvent. Its $13.50 for 4.2 oz and I blow through it FAST! Ive pretty much ditched the whole Clinique line, but I havent ever found an eye makeup remover that is strong enough ...
Pros: gentle, not oily, dissolves eye make-up instantly, freshens eye area Cons: contains alcohol
I'm a recent convert to The Body Shop. On my weekly visits to one of their delicious stores I am always tempted to keep trying a lot of their products as more often than not I am pleased with the results. So when I ran out of my old eye make-up remover...
Pros: An eye makeup remover that actually removes all of my eye makeup! Cons: None.
I am completley in love with eye makeup and believe me when I tell you that I wear a lot of it. The main problem I have found with wearing a lot of eye makeup is that the more you wear, the more difficult it is to get off (and not wake up the next ...
Open your EYES to a GREAT product. by mgboston ,Nov 12 '04
Pros: really works, soothing Cons: none
I started using this product about four years ago, and I have tried some other competitors along the way, and I keep coming back and loving this one.
I bought it in the first place because with "chamomile" in the name I thought it had to be a soothing product, non-irritating, and I was right!
I have never had any eye irritation using this product and it removes everything. Sometimes I may need to do the make-up removal twice, if I have a lot of mascara, for example, but most of the time I just use one cotton pad with the liquid and it is enough.
It last for a long time and the price is worth every penny for what the product does.
I only hope that The Body Shop had continued using the smaller bottle because it was a perfect size for traveling.
This Is The Rock Star Of All Eye Make-up Removers by mrs_rice ,Mar 20 '06
Pros: -Conditions eyelashes
-Is cruelty-free
-Is easy on the gentle skin around the eyes Cons: None
The Body Shop's Chamomile Gentle Eye Make-up Remover is awesome. I am required to wear a LOT of make-up for work, and when I get home, I want something that removes my make-up without a lot of rubbing. This stuff really gets the job done. In a few gentle swipes, it removes three different shades of eye shadow, waterproof mascara, and liquid eyeliner. It's also gentle enough to use to remove lip stain without drying my lips. The price is great, and best of all, neither the ingredients nor the finished product are tested on animals (most companies use "Not tested on animals" only in reference to the finished product).
Camomile Eye-Makeup Remover by tschussgb ,Dec 08 '08
Pros: N/A Cons: N/A
Just a word of warning: be sure you are not allergic to ragweed before using anything with chamomile on your eyes. They are in the same plant family, which I found out after a facial this year. The aesthetician put chamomile serum on a strip of cloth on my eyes and later that day, my eyes were swollen, itchiing, red and nasty. I ended up at an allergist who told me I was very allergic to ragweed and that chamomile is related to it. I have had trouble after using some eye liners, even though I didn't see chamomile in the ingredients. I have found, though, that mineral powder liner works pretty well. I use Deluvia, which I found in Sam's, but it can also be ordered on the internet. It takes a couple weeks for my eyes to return to normal after an exposure and they are quite uncomfortable and red.
I think it's pretty good! by bluelotus53 ,Dec 01 '04
Pros: Product is not oily and does not dry out my skin! Cons: NONE!
I paid $15 for this bottle. (In Canadian)
I find this remover quite good. Much less expensive than the other product you pay! (Some of them are over priced). I find many bodyshop stuffs are over priced, but this product IS NOT OVER PRICED. Lasts long time, and gentle on skin.
I like to use non-animal tested product. As well as fair trade products.
