Most Beautiful Tarot

by owling owling is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Books, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Dec 19 '00
Pros: gorgeous artwork, fantastic symbology descriptions
Cons: divinatory material is a bit shallow
This is without a doubt one of the most lovely tarot decks I've ever seen. The illustrations are singularly gorgeous. Most dragon art I've seen on tarot is fairly silly - fat, cartoonish dragons cavorting about.

Not this deck. These dragons...

A Full Tarot Experience

by jenna3 , Feb 14 '00
Pros: Great art, great book descriptions, extras including spells and meditations for use with cards.
Cons: It's dragon-intensive, if you don't like dragons, keep looking.
I have used a number of tarot decks including, but not limited to, the Osho Zen Tarot, the Celtic Tarot, Legend: The Arthurian Tarot, and the Herbal Tarot. Some I have liked and others were not so great. I like to rate a deck based on how descriptive the...

Beautiful Tarot Set
by kinkyslaygals ,Oct 12 '03
Pros: Gorgeous images, perfect for a fantasy buff.
Cons: Not for a beginner due to confusing instructions.
D.J. Conway and Lisa Hunt bring Celtic Dragons to life in this truly marvelous set. The artwork is stunning featuring dragons of all ages and colors. The cards also feature people in medieval garb, interrupting with these mystical creatures.

This set is a must have for those who enjoy tarot cards. It is not however a beginning set. The book that is included does an OK job at explaining how to use tarot cards, but it can be confusing for a beginner. Confusing instructions aside, the book gives a good overview of the history of the Celtic Dragons. It includes profiles for all the cards, and some spells that can be performed using the cards. It makes a nice companion to the set.

There is no doubt in my mind that these are the most artistic cards on the market. I would love to blow up some of the images and hang them on my wall.
