Pros: It's a great book that has lots of suspense. Cons: There are some slow parts in the middle of the book.
Summary: The Client is a great book, and should be read by everybody. My opinion of this book is that it was great, and I wasnt able to put it down. The only time was at a couple parts when it got really slow and boring.

Pros: Great characterizations; Grisham's descriptions paint a vivid picture; Hard to put down Cons: Ending was hastily drawn up and did not tie all loose ends
Summary: I have read most of Grisham's books and 'The Client' rates right up there with his best works (including 'The Firm', 'A Time to Kill', and 'The Rainmaker').
Reggie Love and Mark Sway are two of the greatest characters that he has contrived. ... read more

Pros: Good Story, Good description of child's mentality. Cons: Sometimes too slow.
Summary: Preface
John Grisham has excelled in potraying the emotions of a child's mind in this novel. The novel begins at a very brisk pace and as the previous review says seems to loose some pace and stutters to a decent end.

Pros: the way the story moves, the characters, and everything else Cons: didn't particularly like the movie version
Summary: I have read (and re-read) all the Grisham books, sometimes thinking I wish I could call John Grisham, and say "Hurry up, will you? I finished that one in one day!" - Maybe I should wait to buy them, so that I will finish closer to the time that the next ... read more

Pros: A very complex plot Cons: some degree of luck involved
Summary: The Client realistically portraits a 11 yr old Mark Sway's mind. He knew about a suicide and the mob threatened him not to tell anyone about the truth. Similar to The Firm, John Grisham takes a book from different characters perspective and thus letting ... read more

Pros: Its a book you can't put down. Cons: I don't think there is a con.
Summary: John Grisham is one of my favorite authors ever. I believe that the best book he has written is "The Client". The book is one you can not put down. John Grisham makes anything understandable, for example: I had no idea about any law terms until ... read more

Pros: Great Story with Edge of Your Seat Suspense Cons: You won't be able to put it down

Pros: Good fast read Cons: Fluffy, no real substance.
Summary: This was nowhere near as good as a Time to Kill, it was better than the Pelican Brief and was not as insipid as some of Grisham's brainless fodder.

Pros: Easy reading, enjoyable, and leaves you breathless Cons: Long, sometimes it seemed like the book wasn't progressing.
Summary: The Client is about a boy who knows too much, and the mafia doesn't like it. I really enjoyed reading The Client, however, Grisham seemed to drag out some scenarios. Such as when Mark was in court and he wouldn't talk, and also the ending which I won't
