Pros: Clearly written, full of factual information, and an easily accessible style for youth Cons: Some Yiddish... may confuse younger readers...
The Devil's Arithmetic is a great book. It is well written and clearly focussed for its intended audience. It simplifies and clarifies the Holocaust for young people, without watering down the facts.
