The LONDON OUTPOST of Bovey Castle is really an exceptionally pleasant place to stay. Service is first rate – staff members are friendly, attentive and professional. No request is too much trouble. We stayed in the George Elliott room, which was spacious and comfortable. Room had a fireplace that actually worked and gorgeous garden views. The bathroom was of good size, which is refreshing in London. The location is superb – shopping on the Kings Rd or Harrods is only minutes away. Museums are close by too and theatreland.

However I think the best feature of the Outpost is its exclusivity. With only eleven bedrooms you feel like you’re at your own home in luxury. So after a long day sightseeing you can relax in the Library or Drawing Room with a drink without the general hustle and bustle of large Hotels.
