Pros: interesting plot, great mystery, keeps you guessing to the end
Cons: slightly reminiscent of The Caves of Steel (only slightly)
Although the grandmaster Isaac Asimov is probably best known for his Foundation series of novels (which the Robot series does tie into) the Robot novels would greatly distinguish him in the absence of that other, more famous series.
