Pros: Good construction, Polartec fleece, lifetime guarantee. Cons: Not suitable for active wear. Needs pit zips.
For 2009, they finally came out with my dream color - Orchid purple. Unfortunately, it's no longer my dream jacket. It's been redesigned for a closer fit, so you can't layer your clothing as well. Also, they removed the pit zips, so you ...
Pros: Cute, Warm, Trendy Cons: Attracts Loads of Lint!
I have two North Face Denalis and I wear them quite frequently. (I own a black one and a pink one and find they go well with most outfits). Don't be surprised if you find yourself wearing your Denali almost every day of the week. The North Face Denali is ...
Pros: Great versatility and warmth Cons: More expensive than other brands
I have the Denali jacket from a few years ago. I'm glad the design has not changed, as it is perfect. The only disappointment in my jacket is that the women's jack only has one chest pocket -- it lacks the smaller "key" pocket. The pockets could have...
Hard to Find In Stock and Ready To Ship by monkeyclimb ,Aug 23 '04
Pros: Fashionable, fuctional, super warm & comfy, zips into North Face's outter shells, new colors Cons: Too many places online advertising that they have this jacket when they don't.
Since everyone seemed to cover the great quality of this jacket, I thought I'd use this review to mention how difficult it is to find a store that actually has this jacket (new colors and all) in stock and ready to ship out. Everyne advertises these great prices and they end up being for a jacket from 2002 in some color no one bought then and no one wants now. I actually ended up finding a good price after I checked the reviews of the mens jackets from a guy named Drew who found it at a place called http://www.4beartooth.com" . They seem to have some dead links to last years jackets for $99, but most sizes and colors are sold out. Their new jackets are $149 and I got mine two days after I placed the order. They're easy to get a hold of and good about answering questions. With all teh places out there advertising North Face stuff they don't actually have, this was kind of nice to find.
I bought this jacket on a whim while on a trip in Seattle, I was cold and wanted a decent fleece. I've had it almost a year now, and it's the softest and warmest fleece I've ever had. I talk about it so much that my mother bought me another Denali in pink. My sister has the Denali, and the vest, and loves them both. Breaks the wind better than most coats I've had, even without a shell. Definitely a good buy, even at this price!!
