I bought these boots: 150 dollars. 1 year warranty and life time warranty... well: my first pair got a hole on the junction of the Gore-Tex + leather. Then they were nice and replaced it (which is not ideal - to break in two pair of boots). The second pair lasted exactly 3 months and I did not hike that much. It had a defect and a plastic piece inside the boot forces the leather: another hole!!! This 2nd pair they do not replaced or repair. Conclusion: the north face might have good products, but boots are extremely disappointing! I will never buy again. After all the second pair was new and they have to stand for it! 3 months is ridiculous.
