Pros: some attractive people, dancing, nudity Cons: sorta boring, uninteresting characters about whom I don't care
First of all, I think I need to explain why I went to see this movie. My friend Marisa heard that a song by her favorite band OK Go would be playing during the first reality sex scene ever on the big screen....

Pros: Ummm...pretty pictures. Oh, and naked people is always a plus. Cons: You know I usually prefer movies to have some movie-ness to them.
Sometimes, as I watch a film, particularly a bad film, I like to think of what the pitch meeting for ...

Pros: I never need to see it again. Cons: That the filmmakers assume we're stupid enough to PAY for free TV.
What a contemptible and unengaging experiment THIS turned out to be. Given the massive popularity of TV shows like Survivor, Blind Date and The Real World, I'm surprised it took a crew of talentless hacks this long to try and exploit the silver screen....

Pros: so I liked one freakin' character Cons: pointless, repetitive, fabricated
As a fan of the multiple "Real World" series, you can be sure that I my assessment of "The Real Cancun" is fair and unbiased. Produced by Mary-Ellis Bunim and Jonathan Murray, the same creators of those addicting MTV reality series, this is supposedly...

Pros: Genuinely funny and embarrassing parts Cons: Concept and cast
Ok, since I'm writing this review, I guess that's also admitting that I watched this movie. I've been a big fan of the reality television of late, and I figured that this would be a nice extension of a "Real World" like series. There were some genuine...

Pros: Laugh out loud funny Cons: No plot, or substance.
Intro
My wife won tickets the premier at the Egyptian theater in North Hollywood. I was excited right up until she told me it was for The Real Cancun Yuk, who wants to go and see a reality movie about young people going to get...

Pros: The soft core porn was done quite well. Cons: Lacking a plot is usually a pretty big setback.
First let me say that I didn't spend any money to see this movie. My girlfriend won tickets, so I figured I had nothing to lose. What I forgot was the two hours that I would spend there. The Real Cancun is MTV's attempt at grabbing a piece of the...

Pros: DEFINITELY captures the essence of Spring Break. Cons: Doesn't really feel like a movie.
Un-censored topless women, shots of some very vivid ruffles underneath the covers, and un-bleeped cuss words. These are the only things that separate, "The Real Cancun," from television's, "The Real World." The similarity between the two is...
