Pros: Real stories, teaches moral lessons and lessons about life, teaches kids to read, imaginative illustrations.
Cons: There are even better Dr. Seuss stories.
Summary: When our kids were younger we read a lot of Dr. Seuss books to them and soon they read them as well. Some of the Dr. Seuss books are mostly silly but fun rhymes accompanied by imaginative illustrations. Those books are mostly about teaching kids how to ... read more

Pros: The Sneetches story does teach a good lesson regarding discrimination.
Cons: Not the best work of Seuss.
