Pros: Durable, soft spout, keeps liquids cold, easy to use/clean, safe stainless, good availability Cons: Heavy, drips, price
When my daughter turned one and was transitioning over to sippy cups, I was looking for something to use other than just the Born Free sippy cups, which meant stainless. I bought a few different cups in different sizes and styles, and one of them ...

Looks nice and thats's where it ends
by mommy2bekah ,Sep 12 '08
Pros: Looks nice Has handles Cons: Holds a small amount Leaks
I thought that Thermos brand was a well recognized name that I could trust so, in an effort to avoid plastic, I shelled out the $14.50 for the more expensive cup...boy was that a mistake. Not long after we had the cup it was leaking EVERYWHERE! My son would have it and leave it on its side and it leaked all over the place. We had wet spots on the couch, on the floor and in my diaper bag. What a mess! It would leak out of the threads of the lid if you had any moisture or drips on the top lip of the cup as well as leaking a lot out of the spout. All in all I was very disappointed in this product and went out and bought some plastic cups that don't leak.

Worst sippy cup ever!!
by corcoran1 ,Aug 19 '08
Pros: PBA Free, nice colors, simply decorated (minimal) Cons: Expensive, not "leak proof" , hard to clean and re-assemble, not kid or parent friendly
I bought 2 "leak proof" foogo sippy cups at Target a few months ago. They were pricey, but I figured the quality would be worth it. Boy was I wrong! These cups leak so badly, I will only put water in them now. If the two pieces that make up the lid are not lined up perfectly, it will no screw on correctly...let the leaking begin! Worst sippy cup ever! Another issue, young children often throw things. This sippy cup is stainless steel and pretty heavy, even empty. It has become a weapon when hurled from the hands of my 18 month-old.
I called Thermos to inform them of my leaking problem, and the customer service woman said they were aware of the issue. She said if I mailed the cups back, they would replace them with something else. I was told I was responsible for shipping charges to get the cups replaced, crazy! I think there should be a recall on these $15.00 sippy cups, and shipping vouchers should be given out to everyone that bought one. Very disappointed.
